About
ColorFlowTex helps textile technicians and designers create organized, legible, and harmonious color palettes directly on iPhone and iPad.
Create a new palette by manually entering colors via the color picker, HEX or RGB values, or by importing data from CSV and Excel files or images. Each palette can contain between 3 and 500 colors and be organized according to various professional criteria.
The "Designer" sorting mode automatically arranges neutrals from white to black, groups color families according to the color wheel, and sorts each group from light to dark. Transitional shades—such as burgundy, olive, and petrol—are placed between adjacent families to create a more natural and coherent sequence.
You can also sort colors by:
• color family
• hue
• lightness
• saturation
• "Designer" criteria
Color analysis uses the CIELAB color space and CIEDE2000 distance formula to identify:
• near-duplicate colors
• color gaps or jumps
• isolated shades
• unbalanced families
• potentially missing intermediate colors
Suggested colors can be previewed and added directly to the palette. Each swatch can be renamed, edited, locked in a specific position, or manually reordered via drag-and-drop.
ColorFlowTex also allows you to compare two palettes, apply filters, work by color family, and quickly visualize the color distribution of the entire collection. Key features:
• management of palettes ranging from 3 to 500 colors
• input via Color Picker, HEX, and RGB
• import from CSV and XLSX
• color extraction from photographs
• optional neutral image calibration
• technical and stylistic sorting options
• analysis using CIEDE2000 distance
• detection of duplicates and color gaps
• intermediate shade suggestions
• manual drag-and-drop reordering
• multiple selection and position locking
• palette comparison
• export to PDF, PNG, and color strips
• library backup and restore
ColorFlowTex operates without accounts, advertisements, or tracking systems. Palettes, images, analyses, and preferences are processed and stored locally on the device. Sharing occurs only when initiated by the user.
A professional tool designed for dye houses, spinning mills, textile manufacturers, design studios, designers, and anyone working with color on a daily basis.
