Like all of Frederic’s apps! BUY THEM ALL!
Good as it gets
My favorite chorus
To me this one just sounds EPIC with little ado: I play a single oscillator saw wave through FAC Chorus in its initial setting and my favorite reverb and it sounds like Blade Runner.
I totally love the sound of FAC Chorus!
Easy to use, looks great and sounds great

Preset trouble
Why no in-app preset saving? Why this asterisk business?
Someone writes in a review (for another app) FAC understands this platform. Well then why must we have presets dispersed among different AU3 hosts? This is just inefficient and unnecessary. For people wedded to one host it is no hardship not to have central preset storage. For those of us spreading the love, opening these plugs and finding no or few presets from the many we’ve already made just deflates the spirit to no good end.
If one can save settings in the app (this one or the others in the bundle) already, please enlighten. I see no way to do it after hunting around several times.
Oh, one other, smaller complaint comes to mind, and though it is not special to FAC, it is noticeable here. The controls in some cases seem to have too coarse a grain. In some instances there are places where I wish we had the possibility to set a control between two settings, but the controls - numerically and sonically - do not allow it.
I would specify better what I mean, but I did not intend to go to this place until right this minute. As I say, this is not FAC-particular - it’s partly MIDI and partly the platform, and it is not an issue in most instances - but some developers have managed to finesse these limitations. I’m sure FAC will eventually smooth things out a bit more as well.
Anyway, very good apps here, ones I would use more but for the preset concern. They’re all worth a look.
Response from developer
Hi, thank you for your feedback. In-app preset saving already exists in all of my apps and the presets are already shared among all the hosts. There is a section about how to use the presets in the online documentation (see Preset Management at fredantoncorvest.com/FAC_Chorus.html) - All my apps behave the same, you get a set of factory presets. If you want to save a USER preset, long touch the preset bar, you will be able to choose a name. A long touch on a USER preset brings a menu: rename, save as and delete. Finally, once you have created a user preset it will be shared among other hosts. So may I suggest you to update your review and the title, because the preset management is already provided and documented. I've just done a quick video presentation available on twitter.com/fac_corvest to illustrate my explanations. I wish you a lot of fun with FAC apps. All the best, Fred
