If the app was showing only your recent photos and an older series seemed to be missing, this fixes it. With limited photo access iOS hides the FaceAlarm album, and the app was creating a second, empty one instead of finding it. Your photos were never lost, just in the album the app had stopped reading. Settings now has Import old photos: pick as many as you like, and they are added to the album with their original dates. Photos already there are skipped, so you can run it twice safely.
