FacilePay is a mobile application designed to help small business owners and tradespeople accept credit and debit card payments directly from their smartphones. It integrates with Stripe to provide a convenient way to process transactions on the spot, helping to avoid late payments and streamline cash flow.
Key features include the ability to accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) in over 135 currencies. Users can capture card details by taking a photo or entering them manually, track all transactions, issue refunds from their device, and benefit from secure, PCI-compliant processing.
The app itself is free to download. There is a small fee of 1.25% on every charge, in addition to Stripe's standard fees. Specific details on fees and pricing can be found on the app's website.
The application is designed to work on smartphones, leveraging their cameras for payment processing. For specific operating system compatibility (e.g., iOS or Android), users should refer to the app store listing or the official website for detailed requirements.
This app is ideal for independent contractors, tradespeople, and small business owners who provide services at customer locations and need a simple, mobile solution to accept card payments. It's particularly useful for those operating in an increasingly cashless society.
