About

Cook one dinner, not two. Someone in your house can't have dairy. Someone else won't go near a mushroom. So most nights you end up making two dinners, sometimes three, and shopping for all of them. It was never that you ran out of ideas. It's that you have to have one again at five o'clock, and again tomorrow at five o'clock. Five, six, seven nights a week. Forever. Fairhand plans a week of dinners your whole household can sit down and eat together. One plan. One grocery list. One trip to the store. Everyone's needs, at the same time Add each person once: their allergies, their diet, and whether they're a picky eater. Partners, roommates, a kid, a parent staying a while, whoever is at your table. Fairhand builds the week around all of them at once. Allergies are hard limits A dinner containing someone's allergen is never planned. Not ranked lower. Never planned. Those dinners are marked while you browse, so you see it coming before you tap. Diets work a little differently: they steer what Fairhand picks rather than rule a dinner out. And Fairhand plans around what you tell it, but it can't read the jar in your hand, so keep checking labels the way you always have. One list for the whole week Every ingredient from the week, added up and combined into a single list, grouped the way you actually walk the store. Check things off as you go, or send whatever's left to Reminders. See prices before you shop Pick your Kroger store and Fairhand shows real shelf prices right on your grocery list, so you know what things cost before you're standing in the aisle. 299 dinners, and you can see every one Browse the whole collection whenever you like, every dish with its own illustration. Filter by cuisine, by how much time you have tonight, or by what's safe for your household. Dinners you'll actually cook Real seasoning, timing that survives a weeknight, and a step-by-step cook mode that holds your place when you put the phone down. Nothing repeats for four weeks Unless you favorite it. Then it can come back any week you want. And if your household's allergies and weeknight clock leave very few dinners to plan from, one can come back sooner — Fairhand tells you which, and why. On iPhone and iPad iPad gets a landscape cook mode that splits the screen in two, so it can sit on the counter while you cook. Everyone at the table, on their own phone Share your household and everyone sees the same weekly plan and the same grocery list. Check something off at the store and it disappears from their list too. Each person keeps their own phone and their own name; nobody signs into anything. Your first week is yours to keep The whole first plan and its grocery list, with no account and no card. Browse all 299 dinners, use the grocery list, and cook with cook mode for as long as you like. That week is not a trial and it doesn't run out. It's simply yours. Fairhand Plus A fresh plan every week after the first. Swap any night you don't want to cook. Start a week over from scratch. What's New in Fairhand

1.0.2

September 30, 2026

The Rebuild button at the bottom of your week now gives you different dinners from the week it replaces, unless your household has very few dinners to choose from. Rebuild also keeps the items you typed onto the grocery list, and your ticks on anything the new week doesn't need more of. Whenever a change to the plan adds to a ticked item, it's unticked so you can check you have enough. For a household with a wheat or gluten allergy, Fairhand now also leaves out dinners that call for products some brands make with wheat, like broth, chili powder, curry powder, garam masala, tortilla chips and rice noodles, unless the recipe names a gluten-free kind. Those households will see fewer dinners to choose from, and fewer dinners count as gluten-free. If one of these dinners is already on your week, Fairhand points it out and offers a free rebuild. Started a free trial and tapped "Not now" when Fairhand offered reminders? Unless you've turned notifications off in iOS, the warning before the charge now still reaches you, quietly, in Notification Center, with no prompt. Reinstalling during a trial no longer loses that warning either. Undo can no longer bring back a dinner someone in your household is allergic to. Leaving a shared household, or being removed from one, gives you back your own household with its people and their allergies. More of the amounts written into a recipe's steps now change with the number of servings you're cooking: the water for rice and other grains, broth, coconut milk and reserved pasta water. Some used to stay at the recipe's original amount. Most of the notes under "Make it work" on a dinner's page now give their amounts for the servings you're cooking, in your household's units. With Kroger prices on, every dinner ingredient on a long grocery list is now checked for a price, and the total appears only when it matches the list on screen. Start a free trial right after setup and you're asked about notifications once, not twice in a row.
