About

Split the bill by scanning the receipt: tap who had what, and everyone sees exactly what they owe. That's the whole app. No accounts, no sign-in, no groups to set up, no friends to add. Open it at the table, point it at the receipt, and hand back everyone's share before the server comes back for the card. HOW IT WORKS 1. Point the camera at the receipt. Fairsies finds the paper, straightens it and reads it — line by line, so you can watch the bill arrive. 2. Type who's at the table. Two people or twelve. 3. Tap who had what. Every running total moves as you tap. 4. Everyone sees the damage. Tap a name to copy their number, or send the whole thing to the group chat in one line. IT GETS THE AWKWARD PARTS RIGHT Service, tax and discounts are read off the receipt, each on its own line. Service and tax can be split per head or in proportion to what each person actually ate — your call, one tap. A discount comes off what each person had. A shared bottle of wine splits between the people who drank it. A "2 x" line splits into two, so one of them can go to someone else. Once every line has an owner and the receipt adds up, the shares come to the printed total exactly, to the cent. Until then, Fairsies says how much is still to account for. WHEN THE RECEIPT IS WRONG Press and hold any item to fix its price, rename it, or remove it. Tap service, tax or a discount to correct just that figure. If the numbers don't reconcile, Fairsies says so instead of quietly guessing — and you can fix the total yourself. No receipt at all? Type the total instead and split from there. That works with no signal at all. FAIRSIES KEEPS NOTHING The receipt is read by Apple Intelligence on Apple's Private Cloud Compute, Apple's own servers. Apple states that what they are sent is used only for that request, never stored and never visible to Apple. None of it reaches us. The names you type and the split itself never leave your phone unless you share them, and none of it is stored — close the app and the bill is gone. There are no analytics, no trackers and no advertising SDKs, and nothing about a bill ever reaches Mirentha. Delete Fairsies and it leaves nothing behind. WHAT IT COSTS Your first five scans are free — not five days, five actual bills, so the free part can't run out while you're not using it. Only scanning counts: typing a total in yourself never uses one. After that, unlimited scanning is a subscription, yearly or monthly, and the App Store shows its price in your own currency before you confirm. Both renew until you cancel, and canceling is one tap in Settings. No ads, and never a charge per scan. Typing a total and splitting it is free forever, with or without a subscription, and needs no signal. Apple Intelligence has its own daily allowance on your Apple Account, shared with every app that uses it; if you ever reach it, Fairsies says so and tells you when it resets. Terms of use: https://mirentha.com/apps/fairsies/terms/ Privacy policy: https://mirentha.com/apps/fairsies/privacy/ SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Fairsies, yearly — 1 year — unlimited scanning Fairsies, monthly — 1 month — unlimited scanning Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions after purchase. REQUIREMENTS Fairsies needs iOS 27 and an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, switched on and set to a language it supports (Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri › Language) — that's what reads the receipt, on Apple's Private Cloud Compute, so scanning needs an internet connection. Scanning also needs the camera (or a photo from your library). On iPhones without Apple Intelligence, and anywhere with no signal, you can still type a total and split it, free, without limit. © 2026 Mirentha Ltd
