What's New in FAMIS 360 Maintenance

2026.2.3

June 10, 2026

"View More" on form-embedded record lists Long lists of child records on a form (e.g., line items, related records) now show a configurable number of rows inline with a "View All" button that opens a full-screen overlay — so long lists no longer overwhelm a form. Search and quick filters on form-embedded record lists - The mobile app now supports full text search and quick-filter chips (segmented controls and select-list pickers) above form-embedded record lists. This capability is available in the client now and and can be configured for your FAMIS360 environment. Inline editing inside record lists - The mobile app now supports inline editing of child records directly under each row — quantities, notes, statuses, etc. — without opening a sub-form. Edits validate immediately, auto-save back to the parent submission, and respect all the usual form rules. This capability is available in the client now and will be enabled for specific FAMIS360 features in a later release. Smarter offline experience - The app now reliably detects when you've lost connection and adapts in the moment. Work request search screens show a clear offline message with a retry button, the login screen shows an offline indicator, and the "Session Expired" prompt no longer pesters you when there's no network to refresh against. If you try to log out while offline, the app warns you first instead of failing silently. Redesigned record list header and filter bar - Work request lists (My Assigned Requests, search results, etc.) now have a pinned title header with a "Filters" button that shows a count badge of active filters. Filters can now be tucked behind a slide-down overlay instead of always sitting above the list — more work requests show at once, while a summary of active filters keeps context visible. Polished list rows - Every record in a list now renders inside a hairline-bordered card for visual consistency. Long multi-line text fields collapse to a single line with a tap-to-expand chevron when not focused, keeping long lists compact. Bug Fixes: Form submissions blocked while online — Fixed a race where a form (work order update, labor entry, etc.) submitted right after opening the app would fail with "Network connection unavailable" even though the device was online. Session refresh could get stuck — Reworked the session refresh flow so it can't hang in a perpetual "refreshing" state, and added structured failure logging so issues surface quickly. The expired-session fallback timer was also extended to better align with retry intervals. Activity start/complete could hang on a stuck location lookup — Capturing the device location at the start or end of a labor entry timer now has a 5-second timeout, so an unresponsive location service (common on simulators or when location permission is denied) no longer blocks the timer flow indefinitely. Empty record lists rendered blank — Lists or relationship sections with no records and no placeholder text now show "No data found" instead of an empty area.

I have used three versions of this app. So far this one is the worse. I wish my company desists from using it. It is making my job harder.
