Great for reading long fics

reading long fanfics on my phone much more comfortable. I like the clean layout, bookshelf, and chapter navigation.

It feels focused and lightweight, without a lot of unnecessary stuff.

clean ao3 reader

does exactly what i want, just a simple way to read ao3 fics on my phone without dealing with the mobile site.

bookshelf feature is handy for keeping track of longer reads.

Piracy in app form

Yeah. I don’t like this one. No authors were contacted before putting their books here and several of them have expressed their refusal not to be on here. Expect many more books to be taken down.

Descriptions for the books is also bad.

Royal Road already has an app, having Royal Road stories here is pointless. You also have web browsers already on the phone for the other places. Just use those over this.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. The earlier version included AI-generated covers, which was a mistake, those have been completely removed. The app is a reading client that loads stories directly from AO3/SB/SV/RR, same as using Safari. No content is copied or hosted. Appreciate you raising this.

Finally a good way to read SB fics on iPhone

Been reading Trailblazer (1.7M words) on this and it's so much better than using Safari on SpaceBattles. Hoping for AO3 support eventually but for SB/SV this is already solid.
