Good selection, terrible streaming experience
I don’t understand what the point is of having a vast selection of interesting free shows if I have to constantly refresh or restart Fandango just to watch them. It is beyond frustrating spending half my time trying to get a show to play without crashing. This happens across multiple devices using either the Fandango app or going directly to the website, by the way. It really ruins the experience. All the ads play just fine though— what a shocker there.

TV app very is absolute trash.
The TV app is the absolute worst. You an only stream one movie ever. My TV app has been stuck on the same movie for 2 weeks now. I can not exit the player and I’ve reset my tv and internet multiple times. This issue has happened for months. So if you do use it, make sure the one movie you pick to watch it’s something your ok watching over and over again.

Best Stream Movie App Around
I have used this platform from all the way back when it first came out as VUDU and have Hundreds of movies, tv and home video on it. This has never let me down, ever!! Sometimes I wish the prices could be a bit better :) but other than that this is the best movie streaming app out there!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!

insane amount of ads and no episode tracking
good luck trying to watch a series on here. decided to download this app because i saw they were the only streaming platform that had the show i wanted to watch, but i quickly learned that anytime i got off the app or paused halfway on an episode to watch later, the episode would restart and play the same 100 ads. i couldn’t take it anymore, so i deleted it.

Used to be Great!!
Used to be Great when it was Vudu, and now when you want to stream, either it won’t start, the app restarts, or halfway through a movie, it bunks out with a playback error. I am looking for next better movie service because fandango is no good anymore!
buggy even after years
I’ve had this app for years and when they switched from vudu to fandango i experience bugs most of the time. most i can get by and figured out how to easily fix, but sometimes there are bugs that prevent me to be able to watch at all. i will still use this app, but spending money on here just to not be able to use it is very disappointing.

Fandango Team Sucks
The app & platform itself is not that bad. You can rent or buy movies without a monthly subscription & that’s what drew me in! But the customer service sucks sooooo much!!!! So much in fact, I had to delete my account. Talking to these idiots aren’t worth the headache anymore.
Junk app! Has zero support!
I’ve tried to use this piece of garbage app but since they combined with who knows who! They’ve perpetually locked my account. It’s impossible to get out of the stupid locked loop they created!
DON’T BUY SEASONS OR SERIERS
THEY STOP YOU FROM BEING ABLE TO WATCH YOUR OWN SHOWS YOU PAID FOR! If you plan on buying any season or series of a shows make sure all the episodes are there first. You can purchase else where and get the entire show unlike here and not get gaslit about it not coming out yet. When it’s been out for over a year or years they don’t refund you just stop responding. Used to be my main way to get digital movies now I’m sticking to apple it’s better quality movies anyway.

Vudu was better
I’ve been a customer since Vudu was first established. I’ve deployed multiple times, traveling all around the world and never had issues. Now, with Fandango in control, I get sent to another country by the military and I can no longer watch the movies I’ve paid for. I contact customer service and was basically told “tough luck, quit wasting my time”.

I love using the on demand movie features! I save a fortune on movies a year opposed to subscribing to 4-5 different services. Thank you Fandango! Keep investing in the tv app (the phone app works well)
Doesn’t work right on TV
The free to watch movies can’t be watched on your TV. Only on phones and computers. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Will go to watch something the video will stop but the audio keeps playing since the update please fix I’ve been using the app since It was Vudu and I’m not very impressed with how fandango maintains the app
Fix your forced close caption feature
I'm not deaf I don't need close caption. Also your free doesn't work. It resets too many times. I refuse to watch any free programs on vudu. They reset.

Man it took me forever to find where I could watch BGC from the beginning and it’s just taking me right back to the early 2000s. Love love this
Great Library, Frustratingly Outdated UI
Fandango At Home has a massive library and great ongoing deals, but the app feels completely abandoned from a UI/UX standpoint. It’s barely changed since the Vudu days, and basic quality-of-life features are missing. Movie bundles stay clumped under a single promo thumbnail instead of separating individual titles in your library, which makes accidental duplicate purchases way too easy. Additionally, you still cannot filter out movies you already own while browsing sales or store pages, nor can you set your default home screen to launch directly into your Library instead of the Store. Movies Anywhere handles all of this significantly better, and now that Movies Anywhere allows direct purchases, I’ve started buying there instead. It’s disappointing because a huge portion of my digital collection is on Fandango, but the total lack of effort to modernize the user experience makes it hard to recommend.
