Useful but…

I’ve been using the apps for years across baseball and football. The price has tripled but the app remains the same. Import/export is terrible. For the money, it should be a yearly subscription with access to all sports. To raise prices while doing nothing but refreshing data year over year is criminal.

75% Price Increase for what?

This is the last time I buy your product since I waited last minute. Where it’s crashed each time I go to Prospects, it’s not worth the $7.99, let alone the $13.99.

Shame on you and your obviously greedy ways!!!!

13.99$ For what???

I’ve been using this app for over ten years. This is a huge increase for pretty much the same app that I’ve used since its inception. For 7.99$ it was well worth it unless they make some massive changes this will be my last year for purchasing both baseball and football.

Hello -- The app 100 percent supports auction formats. Just go to Settings > Current Draft > Draft Style and change the format to Auction. After setting your starting budgets and a few other options, and then saving the setting, the cheat sheet will show dollar values next to all players, as opposed to a ranking. Excellent app, excellent support

I’ve used this app for several years for draft prep. I actually use the Windows version during my league’s auction draft. I’ve always been very happy with the apps. This year, I had some issues with importing my league from last year, sono reached out to Rotowire support. They responded very quickly. They had me try a few things, then pinned down the issue and fixed it. A good app is one thing, but providing good support is crucial. I’m happier than ever with this app!

Used For Years

Great helpful tool. I used to buy all the magazines with outdated information. No real big bells and whistles, but then again there doesn’t need to be. Just be well organized and updated. Which it is. The only thing I wish they would do is allow for tier coloring on the prospect list. You can tier color the player and it will show on the depth chart, but it doesn’t show on the Prospects page. I did send them a note years ago, but I guess they didn’t like the idea.

My #1 tool for draft prep

I’ve been using the draft kit app for the past 3 seasons. It’s especially great for anyone looking for a reliable cheat sheet at the last minute. I don’t have time to do a ton of research myself, especially on prospects, so I let rotowire’s experts do the work for me. Nice to have the ATC rankings available in the app this season too

frustrating missing feature

been using this app and the football app for several years and I don’t understand why you can’t update the app to auto sync devices or even with year over year repurchases when i login. The entire import/export requirement is frustrating and seems unnecessarily complicated to see my leagues across my own devices.

Useful but could be better

Buy this most years. Mainly to have something to play with on my iPad and on airplanes. I don’t think it is real good for actually trying to win a competitive league but is a good MLB news source.

Used to be super glitchy with some projections which defied logical sense or arithmetic possibility but seems like the last couple years those are largely fixed.

It would be awfully nice to have a clearly documented method to import league settings and even league keepers from the prior season’s app.

Also a little full of themselves with a 75% price increase. Although admittedly $14 is unlikely to bankrupt anybody, I don’t think the app is 75% better. Perhaps that’s the cost of licensing ATC projections.

Regurgitated app that rarely is improved

I’d love to see them improve this app year to year, find ways to allow users to adjust projected stats, create stat categories used in custom leagues, etc. But they just import new stats and put the same product out year after year while the industry passes them. I give it one more year before a competitor makes a better product and this thing becomes like Blockbuster.

Hello! While we always appreciate constructive feedback, we'd like to correct a few misguided points about this assessment. First, we do offer the ability to edit projected stats and have those changes get reflected in the rankings or auction values. Just tap a player, and underneath the stat lines on their profile you'll see an "Edit Proj." button where you can make changes. In addition to that, we've added other new features over the years that are worth pointing out. Last year, we added a Category Targets feature so users could keep track of their progress in specific categories. This year, we added three new scoring categories, and plan to incorporate ATC projections once they become available. That is, of course, in addition to the new projections for a player pool of 500+, as well as new player outlooks and new projected depth charts that are required every season. And of course, brand new articles and player news updates that you'll have access to all season long.
