Not good

As a test, take a photo of a room where you know the color. Have the app paint the same color on another wall or the ceiling. Do the colors match? No. Not even close. So what is the point of this app?

The current version delivers much closer paint rendering than the version used for this review, and the workflow is much more user friendly as well. Very little utility

I was hoping we could plan the exterior colors of our home by showing both wall and trim colors. Apparently you can not show both at the same time. Kind of defeats the purpose. If I’m missing something I’d be happy to know.

Can’t see what all the “new” colors look like together

I am trying to paint a gray house green with dark green doors. I can paint the walls, but then can’t figure out how or if I can paint the doors on the house with the new colors - so since dark green doors would look horrible on my gray house, which is the only option I am given, your program isn’t helping me see what my house would look like

Couldn’t get app to add trim and door contrasting color to wall color preview

Great app if you only want to see one color at a time on one festure (walls, trim, doors) Unfortunately I wasted a few credits trying to figure out how to keep the main color preview on the walls that I saved and add contrast colors to the doors and trim. I selected the correct functions for each but app kept switching back to my original picture. Very frustrating and no real instructions or help/faq section.

Lots of colors, not useful

This app gives access to a lot of colors from different manufacturers. BUT it does not identify different elements in a picture effectively enough to let you change the color of a cabinet panel and a cabinet frame two different colors. In a single room, it only let you change the color of all the walls rather than having one wall, one color and having a different accent wall. It would be much better if I could tap on a photograph and then apply the color to the polygon where I wanted.

Inconsistent - 3 Different Colors for One Paint!

On three occasions this app has given me three different colors - totally different - for the same Dunn Edwards Coral Clay paint color - waist of money. Also when I save a picture of our exterior to then bring back in to do trim color it changes the color of the base! There is no way to tell what these colors will really look like!

Interested but have questions

This looks like a very promising app to help me choose colors for my house. But I am interested in painting my house in two different complementary colors with the same trim for each color. Is there anyway to select one color for the top half of the house And a second color for the bottom half with a line of trim separating the two. It would be very useful to be able to select with your fingers the general area that you want painted in the color you choose so that you could choose to colors that would work well together. Also, it would be useful to know how to contact the developer with specific questions. What is the help procedure for this very inventive product?

Retaining original wall color

I chose to recolor the exterior house trim, which worked great. However the app also changed the original wall color, so I’m not able to see exactly how it will look. It even changed the sidewalk which is perhaps a side effect of a smoothing algorithm. How can I have the app keep the wall color exactly the same and only change the trim color?

Could’ve been great

Unfortunately I was trying to paint a front door and it chose to paint my house. There’s no way to select the area to paint.
