Farm To City

The Farm to City App's interactive map shows you a whole world of farm stands, flower stands, bakery stands, egg huts, locally-raised meat, locally-produced cheese and dairy, local honey, u-pick farms, and much more, so that you can find and support real local growers, farmers, & producers in a fast, fun, and meaningful way! Features: Enjoy a smooth, intuitive experience with our streamlined interface featuring four main tabs - Discover, Favourites, Trails, and Settings. Download: This app requires a paid subscription ($8.99CAD billed annually) to use & access all features. After subscription & app download is completed, explore the entire map of locations near you & beyond! Discover: Scroll the interactive map in the Discover tab, tap pins to reveal their names and information cards. Explore farm stands, farm stores, and u-picks with ease. Use the Search Bar to search for a location by name. Turn on your location to see where you are relative to the pins you're viewing. Categories: Tap a category at the top of Discover tab (like "Produce") to narrow down locations by what you're looking for or click the "All" category to view all locations regardless of their category. Category labels and pins are colour-coded with their own unique colours so you can easily recognize them while browsing. Pinned Locations: Tap on any pin to display its name and corresponding info card. Each info card is colour-coded to match it's category and will be bumped to the front of the card lineup at the bottom of the map for easy browsing. Tap info cards to drill down into a location's details like photos, what they sell, their open hours/days/months, & what payment types they take. View any location's available contact info, and even click through to their website and active social media channels. Location & Directions Icons: Tap the green "location" icon on any pin's info card to view the location within the Farm to City App's interactive map. Tap the green "Directions" arrow on any pin's info card to be redirected to your Maps app and start navigation. There is also an "Open in Maps" button. Tap "Open in Maps" if you prefer to simply view the location in Google Maps instead. Use the "Copy" button to copy and paste the pin's location details into an outside map application of your choice. Favourites: Favourite a location by tapping the heart icon on the top right of an info card. This also saves it in your Favourites tab. Favourites save in the order in which they were favourited. Hold the double line icon on the right hand side of any Favourite card to drag & drop re-order your Favourites list. Trails: Use the Trails tab to customize and save your very own farmstand-hopping Trails! Tap the "Create a Trail" button to create a new Trail. Name your Trails. Rename or Delete any of your Trails. Populate your Trails with stops from the map by tapping the "Add to Trail" button in any information card. Tap "Map my Route" within any Trail to view that Trail as a fully-functioning route within the Google Maps app. Choose to start your route either from your current location or your first stop on your Trail. Press the double line icon on the right hand side of any location card within a Trail to drag and drop re-order your stops as desired.
