We’re sorry. In version 1.1.11, while trying to fix an issue for some users with storage issues we then caused other returning users to be incorrectly sent back to onboarding and their fasting history, stats, reflections, and journey data may have looked missing. The data was not deleted or removed. The app was looking in the wrong local storage path, which meant existing information on the phone could be ignored and the app treated the user like a new profile. This update restores the app’s connection to existing local history, stops returning users from being pushed into onboarding when history already exists, and improves recovery checks around saved data. We’ve also changed our release process going forward: any update that touches local storage, profiles, onboarding, or saved history must include a tested restoration path before release. The only normal way user data should be removed is when the user chooses to delete/reset it in Settings.
