About

Mindful intermittent fasting Glad you're here. fast—ing is your calm companion for intermittent fasting. Simple, unhurried, and free of pressure. This app is intentionally minimal: it's essentially a stopwatch for your fasting window. No statistics, no analytics, no judgment of your behavior. Just you, your body, and the present moment. THE PHASES OF YOUR FAST While fasting, your body moves through different stages — from blood sugar stabilization to fat burning and autophagy. fast—ing shows you where you are: • Fasting start – the beginning of your fasting window • Insulin (approx. 4 hours) – your insulin level begins to drop • Blood sugar (approx. 8 hours) – your blood sugar stabilizes • Fat burning (approx. 10 hours) – your body draws energy from fat reserves • Ketosis (approx. 12 hours) – ketones become an energy source • Autophagy (approx. 14 hours) – cellular recycling, a biological spring cleaning • 16 hours – deep in autophagy • 23 hours – your body remains in autophagy The times shown are guidelines for orientation. When your body actually transitions from one phase to the next depends on many factors: what you last ate, how active you are, how your metabolism works, and your individual traits. Transitions are gradual, not abrupt. EASY TO USE • Tap "I'm starting to fast now" to begin your fasting window • Tap "I've eaten something" when you eat again • See at a glance how long you've been fasting and which phase you're in • Use the widget to keep an eye on your status right from the home screen WHAT THIS APP IS NOT Every body is different. The phases and times shown are approximate. They are neither a promise nor a benchmark. Intermittent fasting isn't suitable for everyone, and that's perfectly fine. It's also fine not to fast today, or to stop altogether. Listen to your body and to yourself. Please inform yourself independently or speak with your medical professional about this topic. This app is not medical advice and does not replace a qualified professional. If you feel you have a difficult relationship with food or are struggling with an eating disorder, please be kind to yourself and consider not using this app. Your health comes first. WHO IS THIS APP FOR? For anyone who wants to approach intermittent fasting mindfully and without performance pressure. For people looking for a calm, clear app. No tracking compulsion, no gamification, no distractions. Start now, at your own pace.
