Doesn’t work

I just got my feet up trainer and was willing to try the app. When I clicked 2 week trial then annual payment (which - I cannot even find how much it costs) and clicked submit - it just kept spinning and never accepted my selection. I closed and restarted the app, same result. I did this multiple times. So, you lost me.

Could have been great

I purchased this app but have been very disappointed. Not only did I not get the 2 week trial as I thought I’d get when accepting for payment but payment came out immediately from my account and the app tells me I don’t have a subscription.
I reached out to CS and they promptly advised they would look into it, however, 2 days later I’ve not received a resolution. I’m very unhappy to have wasted $65.

Excellent Product

Have a seat, I’ll pour the tea ☕️. My story begins a little while before I needed this product as part of a birthday gift for my daughter. I placed my order for the Feet Up, and at the very moment that I clicked “confirm order” I noticed the shipping address was wrong (ShopPay had auto-populated the fields with our old address). I panicked. I immediately began trying to contact the company any way that I could. There is no phone number for customer service. I sent them an email right away. Within 5 minutes I had hit them up every way possible including their social media instant messages. Days passed and despite my pleas for someone to get back to me I heard nothing. My communication went from polite (albeit stressed) to completely irritated and rude. And with good reason. It’s terrible customer service. Someone finally reached out to me and said they would look into it. Then someone else said they had tried to change the address with UPS but there were no promises. I then called UPS myself and was told that the package could not be redirected and would just have to be rejected when it got to the wrong location. Well, somehow, the address was indeed changed and the item finally arrived at the correct address. I opened the well-packaged item and found some solid, attractive pieces that required minimal assembly, hardware and tools included. After about 5 minutes the Feet Up was assembled and ready for use. Despite my bad experience with customer service, I have to say that the product is solid and high quality. The phone holder it comes with is clever and convenient. There is an app you can connect to with tons of exercises and programs. Honestly, it’s a great product all around- even better than expected. It’s a bit pricey but in my opinion, worth it. All in all- I was disappointed with the customer service but very impressed by the product. Hopefully my experience with customer service was a fluke and not standard company practice because I can, in good conscience, highly recommend the actual product and services it comes with.

Disappointed

I used and loved the Feet Up app for a few years on a Google Pixel and then started having issues with glitches in the feed a few months after I switched to an iPhone. So I deleted the app and reloaded and now I can’t get into the app at all. I’ve emailed feet up multiple times over the past six weeks and have not received any support. The instructors and feet up trainer are amazing, but the app has failed for me.

Love

I’m so in love with this tool. I use it twice a day. I’d been having issues with finding time to meditate, but I have no problem making time for this! Inversions are fun.

Life changing

I love David up trainer. I am feeling motivated to do yoga like I never had before in my life. I love the classes offered through the app as each instructor bring something new to the use of the trainer. The best thing I’ve bought for myself in a very long time.

App had great potential

My feed back on the classes is that they seem stellar so far. My issues are streaming with AirPlay 2 and how classes are being logged. I am experiencing audio distortion with AirPlay 2 for both the paid and free classes. Also, I completed an entire class but did not get credit for it, perhaps because I was on AirPlay 2? I can’t even find the class in my history. I’m currently in the free trial and these issues are making me hesitant to purchase if I can’t find a resolution.

Love the classes, app is glitchy

The selection of classes is great, the teachers are great, and I love using my feetup! Unfortunately the app is pretty slow and glitchy. Sometimes I have to close it out and reopen cause a video loses sound when I rewind it 30 seconds. Worth the wait usually!

App is so difficult!

I love my FeetUp. I love the instructors and the classes. The app is difficult and support difficult to find. I want to use my iPad but I cannot get the app to go full screen. The video of the instructors positions cannot be seen it is so small. Ugh!!

My Answer

Having been a competitive gymnast, my body has had a toll taken. A year ago I had a total hip replacement. Until I got my Feet Up Trainer, no form of exercise was working for me. It was just too painful to walk or to do anything on the mat. This apparatus brings me up off the floor, I can do inversions without crushing my head, neck or shoulders, I can get into poses I haven’t been able to for years and I can finally stretch deeply. I look at it as my little training buddy!

Easy to navigate & great classes too!

This app has been essential for me in keeping my practice up!

I so appreciate my FeetUp trainer and would not have imagined half of the moves I can do with it w/o these classes. It’s a great resource.

Clean design and easy to navigate too!

Good content Too Bad It Doesn’t Work

In terms of content, this is a FANTASTIC app that goes with a fantastic product. However the app is down and nonresponsive. Once you open it it just goes to white screen.

Love it

Unique, explanatory content without corniness; everything feels organic with each instructor.

Accessibility

Will love to be able to access the FeetUp app on a kindle fire device. I know multiple people who wants the app on a kindle not every body has a tablet

This app is great!

The app provides so many classes with a variety of
themes and lengths of workshops/videos. I would recommend it to anyone that is using a FeetUp.

Great app and classes

Responsive to requests and classes for everyone. I love my feet up!

We wholeheartedly understand how frustrating it is when our app crashes, Bikeflea! We've made many huge improvements over the past few months to ensure you can enjoy the videos without any interruption. We'd love to be more present and available to help you (or anyone) who encounters any issues... please reach out to help@feetup.com with any feedback or questions you have! In the meantime, we hope you've been able to enjoy the FeetUp Experience and would love to figure out how to turn this into a 5 star review :)

Missing someClasses

I love my feet up trainer and the videos on YouTube are great. I bought the membership for the app hoping all the YouTube videos would get loaded on here because they are only up for one week. But that doesn’t happen. Where do the videos go??? Some are too good to be gone forever.
There are far to many classes that teach a move or something and not enough do the weekly flow.

Great feedback, Jennie! All YouTube classes are on their way to the app. In some cases, it takes a week or two. Our instructors have put a lot of time into self-producing content during the pandemic, and we are doing our best to upload everything as soon as possible. We really appreciate your enthusiasm and are working hard to provide the best FeetUp Experience possible. Thank you for growing with us! With your help, we hope to find a way to turn this into a 5 star review :)

logging time

New to the app. Have a few question 1. How can I log my time spent inverted. 2. Why can’t I cast to my tv. The classes that I took were good however the app needs work

Response from developer

Great questions, LadyLuv! We've hammered out the casting issues in our newest version. If you haven't already, please take a moment to update your app and let us know how it works for you (help@feetup.com). The inversion timer goes into effect when you flip the camera upside down as you practice. While originally thought to be a fun way of tracking the time you spend upside down, we recognize it's a system that needs a tune up and are working to deliver an update in the next version! Again, thank you for your feedback-- we hope to turn this into a 5 star review :)

Airplay not working

Can’t get anything but a blank screen when air planning to my tv. Phone is blank, tv s blank. Says it’s playing in my tv, but it’s not. Updated the app and still have the issue.

Response from developer

What a frustrating issue! We were able to resolve the casting issue in the most recent update, and hope you've been able to enjoy it. For a quicker and more responsive resolution for technical issues, please contact us directly via email (help@feetup.com). We've got a whole team of people ready to help, and are ready to do whatever it takes to turn this into a 5-star review :)

Love the FeetUp Trainer, so-so on the app

1. ANY type of instruction video needs to go in the “basics” category. I get frustrated when I choose what I think is a flow from the yoga category and it’s a 12 minute guide do something like downward dog.
2. I do not like the auto play and would like to be able to turn it off.
3. Instructors need to acknowledge that students are watching on an app on their phones and unable to cast to the television. There has to be some sort of instruction on where to put our phones. I’m constantly behind bc I can’t see what’s happening and need to move my phone.
4. Misha needs more videos. While I’m resistant to labeling things “full-figure” bc ANYONE can do ANY yoga I enjoy her videos the most. I love how she teaches and how she is not dramatic at all about having a belly. She just says “I move my foot out this way to make room for the belly.”
5. Quality of some videos is questionable. I loved a morning flow with Lea but was so distracted by it being outside, hearing traffic, and her being hard to see half in sunlight and half in shadows.
6. I think $19.99 is a little steep for an app I have to watch on my phone (which causes frustration bc instructors move around the trainer quite a bit)
There is not a ton of yoga content, especially actual beginner flows that are longer than 10ish minutes) which is why I signed up and why I bought the trainer.

All this being said I bought the FeetUp when I received a targeted ad on Facebook and I do not regret it all. The app needs a lot of work to be as good as some of the competition (Downward Dog is my favorite - no frills, no bright colors, great quality, super easy filtering to quickly find what you’re look for) but the trainer itself is amazing. My husband uses it and my neighbor is getting one as well. I am going to try some YouTube flows and see if it’s less frustrating on a larger screen.

This is very insightful feedback, Monk, and are very thankful for your input. We've definitely put a lot of time into creating videos for beginners, and understand that users want more than tutorials. While there are plenty of full classes available, we certainly understand the frustrating of having to search for them. Our teachers and content development team are always working on better ways organize and tag videos to make that process easier. We also agree that autoplay should be a choice, and will be addressing that in the next update! You also raise an important point about the sound and video quality of the live classes. Our teachers have had to deal with the unique challenge of self-producing content during a global lockdown. We decided with certain classes that it's better to provide something helpful instead of nothing at all, and truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to deliver content. Regarding price, we've since adjusted the rates to make the FeetUp Experience to ensure more people can confidently practice with us while we steadily grow alongside them! We here at FeetUp are sincerely appreciative for your business, and will do our best to turn this into a 5 star review :)
