No portrait mode?

The lack of portrait mode is a very clear indication this application is developed by people who do not use the tools. One handed usage on most devices in landscape mode is impractical and often impossible and it can create an unsafe situation.

Junk

Doesn’t ever want to connect

Video is sub par and tool is a serious pain to get to connect to wifi.

Andy

I am very impressed with this little camera. I find the App easy to use when working and also for showing customers. Great App and great camera! Would recommend

Cool idea. Bunk equipment.

Used a few times and worked pretty well. Not as great as advertised. but still pretty helpful. After only 5 or 6 uses it no longer broadcasts wifi so I cannot connect to the camera

iOS 18 not working 🤷‍♂️

iOS 18 not working 🤷‍♂️ - not finding/seeing ‘Ferret WiFi’

iOS 17 doesn’t work anymore help please fix

Fix connection issues with iOS 17

Doesn’t work with iOS 17 software

Decent enough but now does not work after upgrading to IOS 17 software , hopefully they will sort this out asap

Won’t work with my phone anymore since doesn’t connect at all

Doesn’t connect anymore basically rubbish

Want my money back.

This product does not work .and it’s zero stars

It goes where others cannot

We do a lot of dryer vent service where a regular chimney inspection camera is just too big to make it through the bends of most dryers in our area.

We have a lot of galvanized Sheet Metal, 4 inch duck that goes up through the wall and finds its way out through the roof and this run can be as far as 30 - 35 feet easily, although people have complained about the connectivity of this camera with the repeater attached, it works very well.

Also, I have taken a piece of coaxial cable and wrapped it around the camera, body and my cleaning rod and this is helped with this problem, however be cautious that you don’t lose the cable.

IOS 17 PROBLEMS

Thanks Apple for updating my phone to iOS 17…. Now my Ferrett WiFi camera I use often as a tool no longer works!!!

Don’t waste your money on this

Unusable on my iPad

Can’t make this work on my I pad , works on my phone but very laggy ,very disappointing tool , waste of money .

Makes wiring LED downlighting a doddle

Just brilliant. Saved me so much time and no unwanted holes in the ceiling! Brings cable fishing to a whole new level, highly recommend.

Impressed

The ferret camera has become my new go to inspection tool. It’s versatile, easy to use, and can go anywhere I need it too. I can watch live on my phone and take photos and videos. It goes straight to my camera roll. Enabling me to instantly send photos and videos with inspection reports.

Worked Great Until it Didn’t.

Don’t waste your money. Originally this was a great tool but the battery life on it went to pot after 6 months. The on board lights wash the picture out. This was a neat concept that was junk the minute the decided to outsource it to china.

Ferret plus Resolution is terrible and the range is shocking

I thought it was a great idea and a good concept but they haven’t pulled it off at all.
I bought the expensive one thinking that the on-board storage would be really useful for inspections but dam was in wrong.
The range…
Outside at around 5m line of sight the footage is unusable and it starts glitching out and flickering from one image to the other
The light…
It’s good and bright be brilliant as a torch but because the light uses the same lens as the camera as soon as you get a tiny speck of dust or a bit of insulation or whatever you’re trying to see in the dark with as soon as something touches that lens it washes out the camera makes the footage completely unusable until you’ve cleaned the lens again. Oh and it’s not glass so it scratched really easily.
The voltage proximity sensor…
Yes it works but it’s very imprecise you could never single out a cable in a load of cables which one is actually live it just seems to go off when it’s even near something live.
