Lacks many features of desktop website
I've spoken with customer service but never received an answer from the second level authorities as to why there are missing elements on the app. Maybe it's because this is a streamlined version of the full website and can't be as thorough, but for instance, if model numbers are searched not all results are accurate or shown and the photos are limited. It's ok for people who want to keep track of their tools and batteries and warranty an item, just not so much for research and browsing.

Festool Connect
I absolutely love using the Festool app. The interface is clean, fast, and very easy to navigate whether I’m managing tools, checking settings, or tracking batteries. One of the best features is the battery monitoring and it gives accurate information on charge levels and performance

You know, at the end of the day, the only thing you can ask is that something do everything that it's supposed to do the way it's supposed to do and do it perfectly every time. That's what I've experienced with Festool tools. I never have a problem, never have a glitch, things don't go wrong. The tools function just the way they're supposed to every single time. You absolutely cannot ask more than that. Would I recommend Festool tools to

Amazing products! Customer service diabolical.
I bought a sander during the £100 money back offer period. I filled in all the forms online and heard nothing. I then contacted customer support a couple of times before getting a reply. Eventually someone replied and they were absolutely useless and basically said it was just bad luck and they refused to honour their offer. I sent through copies of receipts and purchase details and was basically ignored. They don’t like to be contacted by phone as I offered my number for them to contact me on, yet they didn’t reply. In the end I’ve cut my loses and left it. Which is exactly what they want. I rarely give bad reviews but feel this is justified. The products I’ve bought in the past have been fantastic, but after dealing with their customer support, I’ll be spending my money elsewhere in future.

Tools accessories these days come without any instructions / manuals and good luck trying to find info about how timide it to its fullest potential. Sure you can go to YouTube and listen to the Festool instructor that just loves to hear himself talk, but no thank you. Just give me a pdf with the instructions, that’s all I need. This app will not do that.

Hallo liebes Festool App Team,
Ich wollte soeben meinen neuen RG 130 ECI EC Tec mit der App verbinden um z.B. Laufzeit / Gerätestsatus auslesen zu können.
Leider kann ich das Gerät in der App nur registrieren aber nicht verbinden da man den Renofix nicht auswählen kann.
Es wäre sehr wünschenswert auch diese Maschine verbinden zu können, da wir so ganz leicht die Arbeitszeit protokollieren können.
Besteht die Möglichkeit das Gerät auch in die Liste der verbindbaren Maschinen aufzunehmen?
