Fidelia is the audiophile music player Mac listeners have trusted for over a decade — now on iPhone.
Bring your own collection — FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, DSD, MP3, and more — and hear it the way it was mastered. No subscription, no account, no one else's cloud.
YOUR LIBRARY, LEFT IN PLACE
Point Fidelia at a folder and play. Your files are referenced where they live — never copied, never re-tagged, never uploaded. Fast browse and search by song, artist, and album, built to stay quick in six-figure libraries. What's on the phone plays with no signal at all.
BUILT FOR YOUR DAC
Connect a USB DAC and Fidelia follows the music. Each track's own sample rate is requested from the device — verified on an RME ADI-2 by bit-pattern test, and visible on a Fosi DS2 switching 44.1 to 192. Bit-Perfect mode bypasses every processing stage for a unity-gain path from file to DAC, and the readout tells you exactly what your DAC is receiving. Where iOS grants a different rate than the file asks for, Fidelia's own reference resampler closes the gap — the same engine that runs on the Mac — rather than leaving it to the system. (Keep the system volume at maximum for a transparent path.)
YOUR SERVER, AND YOUR STREAMER
Fidelia speaks Lyrion (Logitech Media Server) and UPnP: your server's library sits in the app beside the files on your phone — one search, one player. Browsing your server is always free.
It plays TO your system, too. Any UPnP/DLNA renderer on the network becomes an output, chosen from the same picker as your USB DAC. Bit-perfect sends the original bytes, gapless. Leave it off and the whole chain runs first — HeadSpace, the resampler, your Audio Unit slots — then streams the result. Internet radio goes to the streamer too.
Keep Offline works on server tracks too: mark an album and it lives on the phone, playable with the server asleep or nowhere in range.
Network playback is a separate one-time unlock.
YOUR MAC'S LIBRARY, OVER WI-FI
Already run Fidelia on a Mac? Fidelia Bridge copies your albums, playlists, radio stations, presets and settings straight across your own network — nothing to find, nothing to import, nothing in a cloud. Keep chosen albums on the phone for listening without the Mac awake.
SOUND SHAPING, ONLY IF YOU WANT IT
• Audio Unit (AUv3) effect hosting — plug-ins open their own interfaces, and rotate with the phone
• Per-slot bypass and reordering
• ReplayGain track and album normalization
• HeadSpace, Fidelia's headphone crossfeed stage
• Precision volume with Dim and Mute, and levels that read in dB from the route itself
EVERYWHERE YOU LISTEN
• CarPlay, with four presets on the deck
• AirPlay, Bluetooth, and wired output
• Full lock-screen transport and background playback
• Gapless playback, shuffle, and repeat
• Playlists
• Internet radio
FAIR SOFTWARE
Download free and listen for 14 days, the whole player, no limits. If it earns a place on your phone, buy it once and it's yours. Network playback has a 14-day trial of its own, started whenever you're ready — so you can try it the day your streamer arrives, not the day you installed Fidelia. No subscription. No account. No ads.
There's a Mac app too — the same engine, the same processors, its own one-time purchase. Bridge connects the two over your own network.
FORMATS
FLAC, ALAC (Apple Lossless), WAV, AIFF, DSD (DSF/DFF), MP3, AAC, and more. DSD plays via high-quality PCM conversion.
