Fieldd is a Business Nightmare – BEWARE of Their Hostile & Unethical Practices
If you’re a business owner considering Fieldd, let me save you the trouble: RUN. My experience with this company has been beyond unprofessional, hostile, and unethical—so much so that the owner himself called my cell phone to threaten me just for leaving a negative review.
Yes, you read that right. Instead of calling to resolve an issue, the Fieldd CEO personally called me to intimidate me into removing a bad review. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about how this company operates. But unfortunately, it gets worse.
1. They Will Publicly Shame You to Your Customers Over Billing Issues
If you have ANY kind of billing issue—whether it’s a legitimate payment processing problem or even an internal mistake on their end—Fieldd doesn’t just suspend your account behind the scenes.
They literally notify ALL of your customers through your app with a massive pop-up banner announcing that your business has been suspended due to nonpayment.
• This happens instantly, even if it’s just a simple credit card renewal issue or a minor billing problem.
• It completely tanks your credibility with your customers and makes your business look unprofessional.
• Even if you resolve the issue within minutes, the damage is already done—your customers have already seen that message.
I brought this up to the owner himself, and he pretended to care—only to focus entirely on trying to get me to remove my negative review instead of actually fixing the problem.
2. Shady Billing Practices & Threats
• I experienced unauthorized charges on the wrong card, and when I requested a refund and correction, they immediately went on the defensive and accused me of trying to commit chargeback fraud.
• If you’re even one day late on a payment, they suspend all access to your account and claim there’s a $150 “reconnect fee.” (This is a blatant lie—I know for a fact that all they have to do is restore access manually.)
• When I tried to use multiple payment methods to avoid future issues, they threatened me because their system apparently charged a few dollars less due to a technical loophole—which I had no way of knowing. Instead of handling it professionally, they treated me like I was intentionally scamming them.
3. They Actively Try to Trap Businesses in Their Ecosystem
Fieldd intentionally keeps customer data locked within their system so that you become completely dependent on them. Their business model is designed to make switching platforms as difficult as possible.
Luckily, I saw this coming and used Zapier integrations to create an external database of all customer information (emails, purchases, etc.). If you’re using Fieldd, I highly recommend you do the same—otherwise, Fieldd can cut off all access to YOUR customer data at any time.
4. Their “Support” Team is Defensive & Combative
Any time I raised a legitimate concern, their responses were:
• Defensive and accusatory rather than solution-oriented.
• More focused on protecting themselves rather than helping the customer.
• Dismissing valid concerns as if I was the problem, rather than their broken system.
Final Verdict: Fieldd is a Toxic Company That Harms Small Businesses
• They have a “US vs. Customers” mentality.
• They expose billing issues to your customers, humiliating your business.
• They engage in aggressive, deceptive billing practices.
• They hold your customer data hostage to keep you dependent on them.
• Their leadership resorts to intimidation rather than professionalism.
If you’re considering Fieldd, DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF TRUSTING THEM. Your business deserves better.
