This app has been so helpful with my change in diet. Cutting out things you can’t eat anymore for health reasons is already tough, but Fig makes it so much easier.

This app is not helpful or nor does it have a deep database. They want YOU to build the database for them.

I got this app because I was put on milk and soy restrictions when nursing with infant. This app helped me quickly identify foods that I couldn’t have which was a huge time saver when learning how to read labels.
I recently needed to contact customer service and they responded in less than 24 hours and were able to resolve my issue.

Will charge you $69.99 even when canceled DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!!!
I’m on the phone with my bank right now as a type this. My subscription was canceled on September 10th why they have tried to pull $69.99 out of my accounts 5 times since then!!! So much so that my banks fraud department contacted me on the 11th stating that they try to pull out another payment and the description of the charge say trial end! My bank assured me that it wouldn’t happen again considering they thought it was a glitch and then that’s why it probably is not going through! Flash forward now this morning September 18th they pulled the money out of my account and the payment description says the same thing trial end! So now I’m disputing fraud charges because my subscription was canceled and the bank let me know that this is not the second or third time they tried to pull this from your account. It happened a total of five times so five times they have been in the background, trying to pull this money from my account! DON’T GET THIS APP GUYS. YOU GUYS JUST READ AND EDUCATE YOURSELF ON NUTRITIONAL VALUE. IT SEEMS LIKE A GOOD THING AT FIRST UNTIL YOU’RE TRYING TO CANCEL IT AND IT’S TRYING TO PULL THAT MUCH MONEY OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT.

Just recently got diagnosed with celiac disease and struggled to find good foods that fit within my diet. This app genuinely changed everything I feel safer at the grocery store the scanning makes it so much easier to shop!
Life Changer
I developed and allergy to certain foods and with this app I now can eat certain foods without second guessing myself. I absolutely love it and recommend it to everyone. You can even get recipes and find restaurants that accommodate your dietary needs.
Ingredients displayed inaccurate
I’ve noticed after scanning foods and double checking ingredients, the app actively displays ingredients that are not listed.
Loving it
It helps me to easier understand what I should be eating and the easily read and marked warnings help
Exceptionally helpful
Having dietary needs, means many struggles with trying to find out what’s safe to eat and where is safe to eat. But Fig makes it so much easier to read ingredient labels that I may not catch or words that I may not recognize but still may be bad for me.

Fig app is good until you go to pay for it, very shady and a scam
I had the Fig app for several years with very few complaints until this month of 2026. I received a special offer to renew for $29.99 -5 dollars off if you set it up with a bank card. I thought, I’m saving money so why not. I started the process and when I clicked to renew it said it’s charging me $34.99 with no mention of the $5 off I was to get. They charged me $10 more than what the renewal special was listed for. I tried to contact them by email, three times over the course of two weeks with no replies. There is no phone number to call them so you’re only means of communication is email but they don’t answer your emails so what is a customer to do? They left me no choice, but to get a hold of the bank and report them for fraud. They need to get their act together if they want to keep loyal customers. Cannot recommend!!!

Horrible app that is overpriced.
Not very effective. Charges $60 and puts you in the auto subscribe that is impossible to get out of. Support is none existent. Always says they’re sorry but never do anything.

Had trouble with somethings in the app and the team was absolutely incredible! Responsive, kind, considerate, and willing to help. They genuinely care about their customers which is so refreshing to see and of course the app is very helpful for people struggling with dietary restrictions!

This app is probably the most helpful I’ve found when it comes to navigating alpha gal syndrome. They understand that it’s more than just a meat allergy and that is truly appreciated!! I can’t say enough good things about this app and the online support that is being put out there for this fairly new syndrome (new to my state and new to me). It makes shopping a lot easier and less stressful, I’ve also been able to save some cash in the store :) Thank you Fig!!!

Just don’t agree to the free trial…that you have to agree to.
Ok, the actual app is fine. The frustration is how they force you into the free trial. I know, you’re like “you mean like every other site and app ever?” Nope. So, you go through the onboarding process, enter all the allergies, etc. Then at the end of the onboarding, they want you to sign up for their seven day free trial. Fine. But to avoid Apple taking a cut of the fees, they take you into the browser and have you complete it via Apple Pay. It brings you into the app and you start using it, tada! You don’t realize the fatal error that’s just occurred. They now have you locked into a free trial and you don’t have an account. So, you come back an hour later, the session on the app has ended….and nothing has saved and you can’t access your free trial. You also can’t cancel it through Apple subscriptions because they took you out of the app. You eventually can cancel the subscription by using the email used on your Apple Pay on their stripe portal, but you might be so frustrated by the end that you’ll write a review
