User reviews

Disgusting devs have done it again!!

Like so many users here, I used to use the downloads app. I paid for it, and I used it without problems for years. I mean it had its issues, but it was a tried and tested part of my iPhone workflow. Then one day it stopped working due to an upcoming iPhone iOS upgrade, and lo and behold a new app appeared by the same developers. So I shelled out another £4.99 and here I am using that one for another few years. And now, out of nowhere, I’m told that I don’t have the right to make downloads (which I’ve been doing for years), without paying a new monthly subscription.
Of all the apps I use on the iPhone, this is the only organisation that does this. I genuinely don’t know how they get away with it, it’s not even funny, this is straight up, unscrupulous, unabashed robbery. I’m just amazed more app developers don’t do it. I suppose most of them have standards. I’ve always loved the app, I just can’t believe that somebody can be so greedy and immoral that they would destroyed the goodwill of their entire user base every few years because they are greedy and can get away with it.

note to self

didn’t work well as a downloads manager. but only tried once

Issue with videos it when to he to low resolution at the moment anyway to fix it ??

Not sure whats going on maybe ran out of space ? but it became the video quality is low what happened?

Needs zip compress option

This app has served me brilliantly down the years but now I’ve got one slight gripe- I wish it had the zip compress option for folders if I need to move files. I hope you add this option asap.
