This is most likely spyware.
Cancerous ads will annoy you to death to get you to pay for an app made from code that someone else wrote decades ago, then, takes over file opening priorities without permission and further complicates this by not exposing changing this setting in the app or in iOS.
This wouldn't be a big deal if it could actually properly open the files it is hijacking... and I didn't care about security, but sadly that is not the case... instead it's taking over file priorities for files types it has no zero reason to be taking over without malicious intent.
