I really enjoy it

It’s nice to have a system that gives back

The scanner doesn’t work

When trying to scan the bottle it seems to be using the wrong lens and the zoom is increased, making it impossible to register the tag

Thank you for helping make us aware!

I downloaded this app at my last company's convention when they handed out reusable bottles with Fill It Forward stickers on them.
I appreciate the awareness being brought to the need and importance of clean water for all people and also all the efforts being made to reduce as much as possible the use of plastic which, as we all know, is an incredible detriment to our bodies and our environment as a whole. Thank you!

Good, when works. Otherwise terrible

If the camera doesn’t work, or it takes too long to load you’re out of luck.

Great concept- failed technology

This is such a great cause and concept! I love the reusable bottles, especially because they stack! Unfortunately, I’m unable to get the scanner to work. It will snap a pic and spin and come back on to snap a pic (repeat…). Please look into this as I use them all the time and would like to be helping out!🥰

Life Changing

This company is definitely one to follow their impact on helping to save our environment is second to none. Using their app has made me aware of the difference we can all make even if it is one bottle or tray at a time.
I have also benefited from using the app for my own daily health, swiping the QR code to keep on track with my daily water consumption. Also the ongoing prizes provided by their customers is well worth the effort, not to mention the Charitable donation made directly by Fill it Forward, they truly are Always Giving.

Frustrating & Time Consuming

The camera in the app is garbage. The whole point is to take pictures of the QR code but it takes nearly 5mins to get the camera to read the code. Way to cop out on not having to donate money to the cause you say you support. I bet if the scanner worked correctly people would actually use it. After 6-8 attempts it’s beyond frustrating to use.

Camera in app rarely works

I love the idea of this bottle. I downloaded the app so that I could personally track my impact. However, whenever I try to scan my bottle with the apps camera, it only works about a quarter of the time.

Good idea, terrible delivery

I bought a container on campus. The QR code does not work. It either crashes the app or gives me an error. For contacting the developers from the app I need to download another app (mail). Why have a “help” box if you don’t want to help?

Good app

Would be cool if it showed you your total impact for the month - like the little bar that says “impact of your last reuse” but it changes every time you scan so you can see your impact adding up

silly

Having to scan codes just to use a plate. How are these containers any better for the environment than a normal washable plate? Ridiculous

Nope

No good

Does not work

The camera would not scan my tag no matter the clarity, light source, or anything. Great concept, poor execution.

Unusable and false information being spread around

I wasted 5 dollars today because a Cornell staff told new students that we could drop off our used takeout container and pick up a new one LATER. Using that information, I scanned and dropped off my new container and intended to pick up my new container after dinner because the line and crowd control was incredibly poor. When I went to the front desk to pick up a new container, I was met with criticism and negative comments from the lady working there, Apparently, dropping off and picking up a new container has to be done AT ONCE: you CANNOT pick up a new container later.

With that being said, the app couldn’t even prove that I already turned in my container 30 minutes ago. I even showed the lady proof that I payed the 5 $ fee to buy the container. She said that everything was useless and I HAD to spend another $5 to get a new container, even though I was already part of the container program. I am tired of having to spend useless and unnecessary fees on campus, $5 adds up.

Not only does the app need work, but the staff needs to revisit the customer service department.

Has potential

I love the idea of the scan code and renewable bottles. The app is so sad though. Needs a lot of improvement for sure.

Constantly freezes and crashes

Constantly freezes and crashes. Poor performance definitely could use some major improvement. Currently unusable

Blatant Cash Grab

My dining hall gave us free paper boxes to take our food in prior to this stupid app. Now I have to pay $5 for my plate? $10 if I need a second box? Terrible solution to a problem that never existed in the first place. Can’t wait till they do away with it.
