About

Filmhaus is a film-look editor and photo library for iPhone and iPad. Import from your camera, keep your originals safe, and give every shot a film look. Free, with no account, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. FILM LOOKS Choose from 35 original looks plus an untouched Original: everyday and portrait negatives, muted chromes, saturated slides, cinematic color, instant prints and black and white with red or green filters. Set the strength of any look, and let on-device suggestions point to the looks that suit a photo. These are original interpretations, not official manufacturer film profiles. THE FILM DETAILS Grain you can shape by size, roughness and color. Light leaks in six patterns, expired-film color shifts, halation, diffusion and fade. Deepen saturated colors and blues, add clarity, and burn the capture date into the corner like a point-and-shoot. REAL EDITING CONTROLS Crop to 1:1, 4:5, 3:2, 3:4, 16:9 or free, rotate, flip and straighten. Adjust exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites and blacks, temperature, tint and saturation, and shape tone with master and RGB curves. Compare before and after with a draggable split, and undo any step. HDR photos keep their extended range. MAKE AND SHARE LOOKS Save your own looks, then share them as a card with a QR code, a link or a file. Every exported photo can carry its look, so a friend can add it straight from the picture. Build a look from a reference photo you love, or paste a camera film-simulation recipe in the Fujifilm X format and turn it into a look. A LIBRARY THAT KEEPS YOUR ORIGINALS Originals stay separate from your edits. Organize photos into albums and shooting sessions, mark favorites, reject the misses, and search by camera, lens, look or what's in the picture. Save named variants, copy settings to many photos at once, and lay out diptychs and contact sheets. EXPORT JPEG or HEIC at full size, 2048 px or a custom size. Add a white, black or instant-print border with your camera, lens and exposure details. You decide whether camera details, capture date and location are included; location is off by default. FOR CAMERA SHOOTERS Import RAW files (ARW, RAF, DNG, CR3, NEF and more), JPEG and HEIC from a USB camera or card reader, Files and iCloud Drive. Duplicates are recognized. On compatible Sony cameras, import JPEGs over Wi-Fi and shoot remotely with a live view in your chosen look. Load a 12, 24 or 36 frame roll and the shots stay hidden until you develop it. EVERYWHERE YOU EDIT Use every built-in look from the Photos app, apply a look from Shortcuts, and turn on iCloud sync to keep your library, edits and looks on both iPhone and iPad. Photos are processed on your device. Filmhaus is available in English, Russian and Swedish.

1.1.1

October 8, 2026

A redesigned editor that puts your photo first. • The photo fills most of the screen and stays perfectly still while you adjust. • Pick a parameter and fine-tune it with one large slider. Double-tap to reset. • Cleaner sliders: a thin track and a ring handle instead of a colored fill. • Looks preview as thumbnails of your photo. Tap the applied look again to adjust its strength. • Curves draw right over the photo, and crop ratios live in a single menu. • Undo and redo moved to the top bar; compare, histogram and full screen float in the photo's corner. • Press and hold to see the original. Swipe between photos, swipe down to close. • Dark mode throughout the app. The library shows 3 columns, and you can pinch to resize thumbnails.
