Can’t delete files
Great app for accessing advanced features without being too overwhelming. However, once recorded and exported, the app hangs when trying to delete files in the media browser
Love the app but the bugs in this version make it unusable
I have used this app since it first launched, and love it, but in the last several months it refuses to record ProRes because it thinks my phone is full, even though it is not even close. I have almost 300 gigs available.

Hey Apple devs, this app was great, the controls are awesome and it’s great when you’re trying to make videos, but it needs somthing different. One thing you guys could do is just merge it with the camera app. It would be a lot easier to use/acess and not have two apps for photos and videos. Another is down exposure controls, for shooting videos. If combining the apps just won’t work, then that’s fine, i understand how hard and frustrating coding and stuff is, but if you could that would be awesome! Once again, you guys did a great job!

Support for Camera Control Button
I would love to see support for the iPhone's 16 pro max, 17 pro max, etc. Camera Control button in this app. It would be amazing to be able to launch the app instantly and control the camera settings (like zoom or exposure) directly using this button. Please consider adding this feature in the next update!

Final Cut Camera 👍
When used in conjunction with Final Cut Pro, there is nothing better. I use it with FCP for iPad and it is AWESOME!!! It’s Amazing with FCP on MacBook Pro too. Bottom line, just download it NOW! You won’t regret it…
NO FLASH OPTION OR AUDIO MONITORING
There is no flash option or audio monitoring when you have headphones plugged in and I went into the settings to see if there is a auto flash or any kind of flash option for video absolutely nothing on that 17 Pro Max please fix ASAP
Jury is still out but liking it so far
I’m amazed by the way that this app barely touches battery life! I filmed for almost 10 hours while shooting a wedding and after party. 90% battery only went down to 42% with either recording or camera live on tripod. I’m yet to view the video and do the editing so on quality I can’t yet comment. But the battery life is way better when using final cut camera compared to the phone’s built in video function, which drains battery in less than 90 minutes

Professional features held back with bits and, weirdly, the lack of professional features
You get complete control, but you still get to shoot with shutter speed not angle. You get ProRes raw, but you still have no exposure tools. What I’m trying to say is that this is a pretty powerful app and it’s really easy to use, but at times it’s far overly simple for experienced shooters who are looking for more technical controls and monitoring. Also, there’s the prevalent and persistent bugs. It consistently displays the incorrect record time limits and the worst bug at all is every time you close the app, it changes your shutter speed and iso to random default instead of what you want it to be.

Please add the ability to shoot videos with a 4:3 frame ratio with a 0.5 lens to the iPhone 16-17. Something that was in previous devices!!

Can’t set 1/60 shutter at 60 fps anymore
I used this app all the time because it gave me full manual control over the camera settings. However, after the latest update I can no longer set a shutter speed of 1/60 when recording at 60 fps. The slowest shutter speed available is now 1/96.
Please bring back the ability to use a full-frame shutter (1/60 at 60 fps). This feature is essential for my workflow

The overall camera is good, I just wish it was a little more zoomed out, other than that very good
