Quasi ein liebevolles OutRun für iOS. Grandiose Hommage mit schneller Grafik und schönem Flow. Macht irre Spass und ist für mich unterhaltsamer und spannender als die meisten modernen Racer.

Can not believe this is buried “SO DEEP” on the App Store; it is great fun; just wish it had “A BUTTON ENLARGE FEATURE” like “RUSH RALLY ORIGINS” then it would be “PERFECT”!!!!! Would not have to worry about “ACCIDENTALLY HITTING THE BRAKE BUTTON”…..

As an Outrun addict from years ago I love this clever game. It’s so evocative of summer holidays with my young son in arcades. He’s a big man now and would thrash me at any game.
So I can only heap praise on this little gem which costs almost nothing for hours of stress alleviating pleasure.

Das beste Rennspiel fürs iPhone. Extrem rasant und trotzdem auch für Leute mit zwei linken Daumen sehr gut spielbar. Nirgendwo sonst habe so ein Gefühl von hoher Geschwindigkeit erlebt. Vielen Dank für dieses phantastische Spiel.

Outrun for iPad
The great thing about this game is that you can choose your music, so I selected Magical Sound Shower from my music library, hit the start button and it was back to the eighties, but with better graphics than my dear old Atari. Love it!
Update. I now have an Apple TV box plus FF 2r, the newest version of this game. So with AirPlay mirroring turned on you get - a large screen, great sound and game-play made even better. Sheer bliss until my wife wants to watch TV.

Final Freeway Breathes The Old Arcade World Into The Modern World
Final Freeway is an Arcade Racing Game that brings breakneck speeds from The Past Generation of Arcade gaming into our Modern World. It is an absolute joy to play, and revisit the old arcade days of my early childhood. It feels like the high octane racer it is, with satisfying gameplay making it a joy to play overall. It includes the beautiful bit-type graphics that run very smoothly on older generation devices and obviously the latest devices. It features very intuitive controls, with tilt to steer or onscreen buttons. As you progress your speed gradually increases making it a thrill of a ride. It makes you want to come back for more and never put the game down. It requires skill to handle these breakneck speeds though, as obstacles such as traffic and sidewalk ornaments including trees are in your way. Of course, it is all based on the thrill of the time trial operative. You are timed, so you want to maintain your speed, and avoid hitting anything in your path. The absolute consequence of hitting an object is abrupt slow down, adding up those minutes o your lap time. But best of all, it includes Game Center Integration, featuring Game Center Leader boards and Achievements, to score yourself some bragging rights and prove your legacy. This game features the Ferrari F40 (or so it seems) as your car, but I wish that there were a few other cars you could earn. But nonetheless, this is simply a request, thus it cannot knock down a star. What is missing is more game modes. The game is quite short if you are skilled in racing games as there are a total of 5 events, somewhat long, but fun. If you are a good racer, then the game will feel a bit short, but you are rewarded with trying to conquer the leader boards. Also, don't expect any level updates as Final Freeway 2R (The next iteration of Final Freeway) is out. It has not received level updates so far, and I would love to see some. Even if it is an outdated title, it would be great to get some extra modes to play. Realistically, not all of us are trying to climb the leader boards, and there are only 4 Achievements. So all in all, it's one of the best Arcade Racers I've seen, but I wish there was more to enjoy. This Title receives 4 Stars for its ultimate gameplay, and feel, making you want to come back for more, but suffers because the more isn't there.
