What's New in Finance Tracker +
2.0
October 20, 2026
What's new in 2.0 NEW • Insights tab: your charts and a new cash flow forecast in one place. The forecast estimates your balance over the coming months from your regular income and bills. • Receipts: attach a photo of a receipt to any transaction. Receipts sync across your devices with iCloud. • Duplicate check: if a new transaction looks like one you've already added, it's flagged so you can keep or remove it. • Backup & restore: save a full backup of your data to Files and restore it on any device. Find it in Settings › Export & Backup. • Copy last month's budgets in one tap. • Edit recurring transactions, goals and your own categories. Renaming a category updates every transaction in it. IMPROVED • Bill reminders arrive at 9am the day before a bill is due, or at 9am on the day itself if that's too late. The app only asks to send notifications when you first set a due date. • CSV export now includes notes, currency and month, and opens cleanly in Excel and Numbers. • Amounts appear in your chosen currency everywhere in the app. • Tap a transaction to edit it. Marking it as paid now has its own button. • Budgets now show how far you've gone over 100%, and you can't set two budgets for the same category by mistake. • Adding a month now suggests the next one you haven't added. • Charts now have a legend. • Settings is easier to find your way around and shows your iCloud sync status correctly. • Better VoiceOver support. FIXES • Weekly and fortnightly recurring transactions are now added for every week they fall in, and ones you've deleted aren't added back. • Bills due today now show as "Due soon" instead of "Overdue". • Transactions added to a past or future month now get a date in that month. • With Face ID lock on, your finances are hidden in the app switcher. • The app now always asks before deleting a transaction. • Plus lots of smaller fixes and performance improvements.
