Nur einigermaßen praktisch

Für das doch recht begrenzte Anwendungsfeld ist das Abo geradezu absurd teuer. Einen einstelligen Euro-Betrag als Einmal-Zahlung hielte ich für angemessener, denn letztlich findet man sein „Auto“ auch mit jeder x-beliebigen Karte wieder, inkl. Navigation!

Hi, I get why adding subscriptions would be a dealbreaker. I built Find My Car to be useful without feeling pushy, all the main functions are still doable without a subscription, only 2 NEW Features are under a subscription. So I’m sorry this change drove you to uninstall. I hope to you see you back soon.

Horrible accuracy.

This thing couldn’t find a pair of pants with both hands in its pockets. I was standing next to my car and it registered that I was 250 feet from it.
All updates loaded on the app.
I’m operating an iPhone 16 Pro; iOS updated.

Developer told me my GPS wasn’t accurate.
If’s it’s not accurate in Newport Beach, CA, where is it accurate.
What BS.

Thanks for your feedback. The marker will be set via GPS so maybe you did not have good GPS. Make sure before adding the marker the GPS is good

抱歉让你遇到这个问题。定位偏差到四五百米确实会影响找车体验，我会认真看看这个定位准确性问题。停车自动识别也很依赖手机当前的 GPS 和环境信号，如果你愿意，也可以把当时的大致场景告诉我，方便我进一步排查。— Dennis

Keine Kurzbefehle

Die App an sich ist ganz cool, würde ich mir wünschen, dass man mit den Kurzbefehle Automation einrichten könnte. So möchte ich zum Beispiel beim trennen von CarPlay automatisch meinen Standort des Fahrzeuges markieren. Dies ist heute leider nicht möglich.

Gute App mit leichten Schwächen

Zuerst einmal ein großes Kompliment an den Entwickler. Die App ist sehr gut aufgemacht und nach dem letzten Update auch optisch nochmal svhöner. Das einzige was zumindest bei mir nicht funktioniert ist die Synchronisation zwischen Apple Watch und iPhone. Wenn ich parken auf der Apple Watch eingebe erscheint es auf der Watch aber nicht auf dem iPhone und umgekehrt genauso. Wenn ich auf dem iPhone parken erfasse erscheint es nicht auf der Apple Watch. Wenn dieser Fehler noch behoben wird volle Punktzahl

Not specific enough

I got this app to find my car in a parking lot. Shows the whole lot, not even a specific aisle

I get why that felt too vague. Find My Car is meant to save the parked location from your phone’s GPS, but it doesn’t map out a specific aisle or exact spot in a lot. I’ll keep this in mind as I think about how to make the parked-car view more precise. — Dennis

Mega-App für Teilzeit-Demezkranke

Da ich schon einige Apps dieser Art ausprobiert habe, war ich erst skeptisch als ich gelesen habe, dass vor drei Jahren das letzte Update erstellt wurde.

Pro:

Funktioniert auf der Watch (Ultra) und mit dem iPhone 15 Pro Max (iOS 17.4) mit Sprachausgabe (innerhalb der App).
Zielort lässt sich mit Siri eingeben.
Es werden wenig Daten gesammelt.
Timer, mit Freunden teilen, Fotos vom Parkplatz, Marker löschen mit Ja- oder Nein -Option, …
Contra:

Ich würde es feiern, wenn man die Sprache auf der Watch ausschalten, aber dafür die Vibration anmachen kann.
Safari warnt zZ vor der Homepage des Programmierers.
Fazit: Ich behalte die App, sie ist gut ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where’s the instructions? I set a marker then when I needed to find my car, I couldn’t figure out how to get to the marker !!!
