Why?

It’s stupid that I have to pay money for this app

Response from developer

Hi Lill5647, thank you for your feedback. I understand it can be frustrating to encounter a paywall. As an independent developer, I work daily to keep the Bluetooth radar engine precise and compatible with the latest devices, which requires significant time and resources. We’ve priced the app to be a fraction of the cost of replacing your lost earbuds. I hope the app helps you recover your device!

cant cancel subscrition

wont let me cancm subscription

Refund denied

It is sad that I tried the trial version out and after that period I was not wanting to pay for the because I was told this. Well it tried to take money from my account. Fast forward 6 months later this app was able to charge my account. Within 1 hour I requested my refund stating I never authorized this transaction and yet was still denied. Basically all I’m say is it’s wrong of this app to say a trial period exists because there is no trial period cause they misrepresented what a trial period means.

Response from developer

Dear User, We understand your frustration and would like to clarify how our subscription and trial process works. We offer a 3-day free trial specifically for our annual subscription plan. As is clearly stated on the payment confirmation screen within the App before you start the trial, you need to cancel the subscription before the 3-day trial period ends if you do not wish to be charged for the annual plan. This is a standard procedure for App Store trials. If the trial is not cancelled within this timeframe, it automatically converts to the paid annual subscription. It's important to understand that we, as the app developers, do not handle any payment processing or refunds directly. All subscriptions, payments, and refund requests are managed exclusively by Apple through the App Store platform. When you requested a refund, that request went directly to Apple, not to us. While we don't have insight into Apple's specific decision in your case, they review various factors, including app usage data. Typically, Apple may decline a refund if their records show that the app's premium features were used significantly after the 3-day free trial period had ended and the subscription had become active. Apple generally does not deny refunds without a reason aligned with their established refund policies. We strive to be transparent about our trial terms on the subscription page. We regret any misunderstanding but must reiterate that the condition to cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges is standard and was presented during the sign-up process. Finally, we noticed the name used for your review. While we respect user feedback, we encourage genuine reviews that accurately reflect the situation to help other users. Spreading information based on a misunderstanding of the App Store's standard trial and refund process isn't constructive. We hope this explanation clarifies the situation regarding the trial, billing, and refund process managed by Apple. Sincerely, The Earbuds Team

Not good

The distance randomly jumps around when I'm not even moving. Cannot find my lost ear bud. Cannot even find my known devices that are in rang- only showing all my neighbors devices

Response from developer

Dear Isdtgv, Thank you for your feedback on Find My Earbuds. We understand your frustration with the distance readings jumping around. This usually happens due to interference from other Bluetooth devices or physical obstacles. It's actually a good indicator that your earbud is nearby, but likely covered or obstructed by something. Here's what you can try: Check your surroundings: Remove any obstacles between your phone and the earbud. Try moving around slightly to see if the signal stabilizes. Limit Bluetooth interference: Turn off any unnecessary Bluetooth devices in the area. View all nearby devices: To see a full list of Bluetooth devices in your surroundings, tap the "eye" icon in the top-left corner of the app. This can help you identify potential sources of interference. We are constantly working to improve the app's accuracy and performance. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Sincerely, The Find My Earbuds Team

Looks Interesting

If it’s restored I’ll rate it at 5 Stars again.Guess I shouldn’t have deleted & re-downloaded. Now a Subscription Screen pops up. Pretty sure I got this through App Advice Premium for Life $0 or it was free at one time. Those are the only apps I download. I don’t buy or subscribe because of what ibird Pro did.I can’t see a Restore Link. Lost another AirPod. Tried opening this App & it won’t even open?? Guess will delete & try redownloading. Was hoping to use this because AirPod still has signal. Still haven’t found my R AirPod which I hoped was dead & lost in my Car but other than that App working great.Going to update to a 5 Stars.Apple tells me the fact that this App shows my lost ear pod to be at a location where it couldn’t possibly be because I didn’t leave my car with it doesn’t mean anything. It just means that’s the last place it picked up a Signal. Will be searching my Car for it.Probably went dead at that location & Apple says this App isn’t going to pick up another Signal unless found & put in a Charging Case. I have the left ear pod in Case & this app does know where it is in my House so it works when getting a Signal.

I have six Bluetooth devices and this app only finds one of them.

The user interface is defective: you can add a device to your device list but there is no way to remove one if you added it accidentally.

Useless, Predatory, Opaque

I’ve been trying to cancel the free trial for days. It’s impossible to do so on the app because they literally don’t have the option.

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience with our app. Regarding your concern about canceling the free trial, please know that all subscriptions, including free trials, are managed under the Settings app on your iOS device and can be easily canceled there. Does not seem to work

This app is probably one of the worst I’ve ever tried to use in my entire life. They want you to pay five dollars for the week subscription and then I can’t even get it to find my own earbuds that I have in my hand. A bunch of other unknown devices sometimes show up sometimes don’t, then the app for most of the time won’t even load anything not even the options of turning it on or off. I would not waste your time using this app much less pay for any subscriptions.

Ok for select devices

It seems to detect and name certain devices, mainly Apple ones. However, the list is full of “unknown” devices which drowns out the usefulness of the app. There’s no way to filter by distance and the order of appearing devices is sporadic and random. An app like wonderfund, although showing less devices, shows their names. My oura ring, for example, shows up clearly in wonderfind but is lost in the sea of “unknown” devices, making it sort of useless.

There’s a lot of potential for this app, as it seems to pick up way more devices than other competitors, but it’s impossible to discern which device is which, something that should be possible considering their names automatically show up when discovering them with the iPhone.

What’s the point?

It does exactly what “Find My” does

Don’t bother

All the devices say unknown, many items were obviously the neighbors’ devices even though I selected recognized devices, the distance to device never changed when I walked around, the map looked like a toddler scribbled on it even when I walked in a straight line, and the map kept registering more movement after I stopped moving. Maybe it would be helpful if you could relabel the device when you saved it, especially if everything says unknown. I found it frustrating and useless.

Finds them all!

Interesting because it finds ALL BT devices. But it doesn’t give you the option to name those generic ones with no name, nor to delete random BT devices of your neighbor. GRANTED this is not the main use of the app, but as it can find all BT (think various headphones and speakers) it would be nice to really be able to use the app for more than earbuds IMO. But - great for what it does!

Almost perfect

This app does the job but I wish there was someway to rename the devices especially when so many are listed as unknown. There's also no direct support or email available in the app to contact anyone with questions.
