Sure it “works”, but it can’t see in “complete darkness”. There needs to be a small amount of light. 😑🫤

The LiDAR system will definitely work in complete and total darkness. The standard camera imaging is used to augment the LiDAR imaging when a small amount of light is present. However, in the absence of light, the system’s infrared LiDAR system will still function. Keep in mind that the iPhones effective LiDAR range is about 15-20 feet.

Your devices do not have the LiDAR sensor. Night mode requires the LiDAR sensor. The app description clearly states this.
The App
I love that the app is straight forward and simple but even though it is .99 cents in the play store the app gives little compared to apps that demo a .99 counter. Need more features if it will hold up to demos
