Critical iOS 26 Compatibility Issue – Websites Fail to Load
I’m experiencing a critical compatibility issue with Firefox on my iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 26.
Since updating to iOS 26, Firefox fails to load websites properly and becomes unresponsive or unusable. The issue occurs consistently.
Please investigate Firefox’s compatibility with iOS 26 and provide a fix or update as soon as possible.
Device: iPhone 16 Pro Max
OS: iOS 26
Issue: Websites fail to load properly / browser becomes unusable
Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.
No adblocking feature available
They keep hyping an article about toggling adblocking on Firefox on iOS. The toggle doesn’t show in my settings.
Decent
Stop with the obnoxious pop ups asking me to review your app
The old UI was more functional
It was also the only browser that didn’t let me import bookmarks. Only the option to sign in and sync with an account now seems to exist, whereas all others let you import bookmarks from other browsers
The old UI made it seemless to switch between normal and private tabs, to use or add bookmarks, and to use the settings list in the bottom right to quickly adjust zoom, request a desktop site, copy or share links or to use the “find in page function”
Very importantly, the settings let you block pop-up windows and block images entirely, though the latter didn’t always work
The new UI introduced at some point this year got rid of all of the above, and so while I might still use the browser, I’ll definitely use it less. It doesn’t offer the convenience of peace of mind that the others do for a privacy conscious user

Good but annoying features
Biggest annoyance is if you go to view all open tabs and push a tab slightly rather than opening that tab the browser closes it.
There’s already a X to close an open tab, why add an additional feature?
The amount of times I close a tab by mistake grrr!
Please allow this annoying feature to be turned off!
