Conflicting information, ad prioritized
Could literally be dangerous in bad weather that the advertising sponsor takes up the entire screen so long. (Just have the ad at the top or bottom of the screen continuously.) And regular future radar and 24-hr radar conflict, even in the supposed current status.

I mean why would a weather app’s radar work? It’s not like you’d ever want to see the radar in stormy days to know when the rain is coming….. Garbage.

The commercial at the beginning has sound. The weather report doesn’t.
Preferred weather app!!
We used to use a different local station's Weather app, which shall remain anonymous, but it became so unusable by pop-up windows that we decided to try the First Alert 4 Weather app. Bingo! You can actually use the First Alert app without having to wait for the next advertisement to finish its run. We're sticking with this one.

Slow
While this app provides for accurate weather & the people are great, the app itself is frustratingly slow. You click on the notification & it takes a while for the app to fire up. Then it has to show you a couple of commercials. Then it starts up the video of the weather report that may be recent or maybe 30 minutes old or older. In the mean time I could have clicked on 2 other weather apps & got a report and full Doppler radar. It’s not like I’m running it on a real old phone (iPhone 16 plus ).

Your station does not do a very good job of covering weather unless it is bad. It does not cover news in our area.
Extremely useful but some bugs
I do love that it gives me loud alerts to storms but unfortunately even though I turned off alerts to lightning so I could sleep it still gave me the alerts. Hopefully this bug is fixed quickly.

Don’t show ads during tornado coverage
Interrupting Steve and the team with ads in the middle of live coverage of tornadoes rolling through St Louis? Ridiculous, craven, and embarrassing.
Allergy Forecast
It would be helpful to include an allergy forecast.
Bogus
I can never see the video about the weather - there’s always an ad running instead of the storm warning I want/need to see.
Sound
The sound rarely works on the app. You can hear the commercials nd when the weather comes on after zero sound. It’s been like that since I got the app.
Ok
When watching live for tornado warnings, it’s not helpful to bring up ads in the middle of watching to see where it’s at. Not happy
No live stream?
Switched to the app since livestream from website no longer works on my phone, and they don’t list any requirements for it. There’s a tornado warning right now, and the latest video on the app is hours old. What’s the point?
Period Weather Watcher
I woke up to scary noise from a storm at 4am and went straight for First Alert 4! I was relieved to see that it was just an Alton storm. Which is not unusual because the thunder here is louder in the valley behind the bluff we live on.
Buggy
Crashes randomly, radar won’t show up sometimes, videos don’t load half the time, ads on the videos sometimes make the phone crash. I don’t have these problems with any other weather app.
What happened?
This use to be my go to weather app, it’s pretty much unusable after the latest update. The overlays are a disaster. I just want to be able to see the radar with overlapping warnings, not a bunch of indicators for lighting. They only clutter the radar. It’s a hot mess.
terrible info-no info
app is again worthless. we used to be able set defaults on what to show. now you can’t set storm info, like: rain amount, storm info and direction. yes, it can be added, but each time the app is started, you must select that added profile, which at 3am, lights out, and not wanting to wake up my spouse, that can’t be changed without great difficulty. and you still can’t leave the app running because it stops updating. it’s storm season and flash flooding and tornado season, PLEASE FIX THIS.
