About how good it is
I like news 9 app gives me updates about storms near very helpful I would download this app because any other weather is wrong this is right.
What happened to usability
I’ve used the News 9 weather app for years, but I’m really disappointed with this new version. The dew point is no longer included, but we have 2 lines for wind speed & wind direction (information that could be combined.) The radar is buried far down on the page for below weekly information that could be a swipe through page. Most egregiously, when I get a weather notification on my phone’s home screen I cannot find it in the app once I wake my phone up. What is the point of issuing weather notifications if they cannot be found & read? All in all, I hate to have to say it but the latest update seems to be all style & little substance.

What a great resource they keep us whether aware and informed. And the news 19 is awesome thank you for all you do.
Disappointment
I’ve followed David Payne and used this app for years, but if it doesn’t improve, I will delete it. Where’s the dew point? What about heat index instead of “feels like”? Rather insulting and much less useful. I hope they revamp it again soon. The older version was much more useful.
No widgets
Updated the app and removed all the widgets. They were the most useful part outside if storm season. Guess I’ll delete till then and reevaluate.
