Confused

I really want to like this app but the app has me in Norman Oklahoma and I don’t live in Norman. I live in Tulsa so now I don’t know if I can trust it to be correct when there is severe weather??? If I can’t figure this out or get some sort of solution I’ll be deleting the app

Response from developer

Hi Morticia, the app's default location is our home base in Norman, since we have no way of automatically determining where you are when you first install the app. If you'd like to switch to our Tulsa site, you can use the button in the upper-right corner of the Local tab to open the station selector, then scroll down or search and tap on "Tulsa". You can choose to grant location access to make it easy to find the closest sites to you — your location is never sent to us. Once you're there, you can also choose to set our Tulsa site (or any other sites of interest) as a favorite for quick access in the station selector, just tap the star. Hopefully that helps! If so, we'd really appreciate an updated review. If not, please reach out at operator@mesonet.org.

Exceptionally well done

I have used the app for several years now. Great tool for any framer to backyard gardeners.

Thanks, Bob! We appreciate the kind words and love hearing that the app's useful across the board for growers.

Best Wx App!

Very quality app if you are just wanting to know what your week day forecast is and maybe you are more of a weather enthusiast that likes to look into the synoptics of things. It’s good for beginners and experts! Not to mention extremely accurate information as it is derived from the amazing Mesonet stations all over the state! Seriously a high quality app!

Nice redesign

Love the ios26 redesign

A Must Have

For veteran Okies, this app has to be on your phone. Is it the prettiest? No. Does it have endless widgets? No (wish it did have more though). This is the app you go to for every kind of weather info you need or want. I love the fact I can see cumulative rain info, comfort info for human and animals, soil data, wind data and much more. The radar isn’t anything to phone home about as it’s very blocky due to low resolution but I have My Radar installed for that. I have out maneuvered many a storm with this and My Radar with extreme accuracy while out working. The ticker is an excellent source of info as well. Thank you for this awesome app. As long as I’m alive my phone will always have this installed.
