App is not loading
App is not loading.
Useless
So, opening the app now basically loads their website. And when you log in, it shows a "log out" option on one portion of the website, but doesn't allow you ANY access to your accounts, and prompts you to either login (already logged in) or download the app, which links to a website that opens the App Store to download the current app. So I can't even check the balance of my accounts anymore let alone make a deposit or transfer.

Poor Function
The app is slow to load when it loads. There are times it doesn’t even load. Terrible functionality.
The app sucks
First Interstate keeps updating the app except it crashes every update and doesn’t work and the check capture feature is garbage. This app sucks.

Screen randomly goes black after taking picture of check. Need to go completely out of app to reload. Works sometimes to get a couple checks in then glitches.

Won’t send text to verify + update July 2026
This is the third and final attempt and using this trash app. When I try to create the online account it won’t let me receive a text. When I hit the call button I never receive a call.
Luckily this is just an account my mom uses and she goes to the branch. We were in the process of possibly moving her out of FIB. The terrible experiences with app certainly helped push the decision to do so over the line….
Now in July I try to login and I get this message: {"errorCode":"99999","message":"99999"}
What a horrible app but I guess it’s perfect for a terrible bank!

Easy To Navigate
Just after getting the app, I immediately knew my way around it and the app is super self explanatory! Love this app!
Mobile depot
Recently I have only been able to deposit one check before the app completely shuts down. The most frustrating thing when basic functions do not work for your banking app. And I have been messing with this too long. Currently looking for a new bank, the convenience of mobile bank is too important to this consumer and find a bank whose functions actually work.

Zelle
Transfers on Zelle to other banks take very long but every thing else is fine
Repetitive and a headache
The app wants me to review it every time I open it and will not stop doing it so I’m leaving it a one star rating from now until it stops doing that.

Honestly the app is… okay, but the banners on the top/bottom are so annoying and intrusive.

Deposit glitch
When trying to deposit in the app, it keeps blacking out. Then you have to restart the app.
Log in keyboard
The keyboard appears for a moment when I click on the password line. Then it disappears as I’m about to start typing, I hit the location button instead of typing my password. I’ve learned to click the password line, wait for it to disappear, then hit it again to start typing my password in
