Unstable after last update
The thing takes like 15 tries just to launch. Just sits there like please wait. Full closeout doesn’t help. Reboot doesn’t help. Checking my account has become rage bait
Insanely Buggy
It’s honestly crazy that a banking app can run this terribly. It takes multiple attempts to login with Face ID and it’s been this way for well over a month. It really makes me uneasy that something this poorly made is containing all my financial information. I should probably be looking into a different bank

App works poorly
This app always takes several attempts to open. I have deleted and reinstalled but it hasn’t helped.
Error when I need to see my accounts
Perfect time to ask for a rating. I'm trying to access account information and got an error stating the app cannot display my greeting. It isn't displaying my account information either.

App won’t open on a consistent basis. Written checks do not appear until later. Don’t bank here if you need to stay current on your finances.
Last update
Since the last update it never wants to open correctly. Pretty disappointing when I want to make sure there’s no fraudulent charges and ensure my money is coming in as it should and I am not able to get in.

Horrible app
Logging in locks up more than half of the time. Mobile deposits fail regularly by either timing out or determining a check may have been previously deposited (despite that amount or payer never have been deposited before). I reached out using in-app chat, was told I had not accessed deposits that day and then the chat timed out.
For 2025 you’d think a bank could do better.

After the last several updates that app takes forever to load and sometimes completely times out.

Last month
whatever has changed in the app in the last month is awful. You can’t ever get it to load without canceling it out a couple times it has to use two face IDs before it will unlock. There needs to be some work done. It is absolutely awful.

I write this here because I couldn't find help on the website.
It's randomly but most of the time, this app says "It can't read your greeting name and try again later" on bottom when I open this app. And also loading circle in the middle of the screen and it never shows my account information. And I swipe this app and close and I open this app then it's stop. I'm experiencing this issue from a couple weeks ago. I deleted this app and installed again but I still have same issue. I kind of open this app daily so I need help to this problem. My phone is iPhone 16 pro max. And iOS version is 26.6.

App is not loading
App is not loading.
Useless
So, opening the app now basically loads their website. And when you log in, it shows a "log out" option on one portion of the website, but doesn't allow you ANY access to your accounts, and prompts you to either login (already logged in) or download the app, which links to a website that opens the App Store to download the current app. So I can't even check the balance of my accounts anymore let alone make a deposit or transfer.

Poor Function
The app is slow to load when it loads. There are times it doesn’t even load. Terrible functionality.

First Interstate keeps updating the app except it crashes every update and doesn’t work and the check capture feature is garbage. This app sucks.
