App does not work
I have tried to login but it won’t let me it shows that there’s a connection error can someone help me
Not the best bank ap around!
Logging in is hit or miss! Trying to get my balance is difficult to say the least! There are much better banking aps out there! Maybe FB&T should take some ideas from those and update!
Not able to see my account
When I log in, I am unable to view my account balance. I am presented with a blank white screen.

Why can’t you fix your app?!? Does anyone ever look at these reviews and try to answer the customers?!? I have been trying for several days to view my checks and all I get is that circle spinning and spinning and spinning! You would think as big a conglomerate as Heartland you would have the latest and greatest app. I just want one that works!

Terrible user interface
This app has the worst user interface of any financial app I have used. It usually works if you can find what you are looking for. The mobile deposit feature is buggy.
App and web site underperform
I have tried to use the app, and the online format, both lock me out every time, requiring my time to unlock, which is usually futile. Very frustrating, but like most IT stuff, its over priced and under performs.
It works Fine
I haven’t had an issue with it yet. I just downloaded the app and deposited a check so so far so good. I have an older iPhone and everything seems to work with the app. I haven’t tried the bill payment feature.

Hardly lets you view your statement. Never lets you login. A million updates.
Unknown error
Well trying to log in and all I keep getting is unknown error. When it works it works. Nothing special I just use it to keep track of my balance so I can’t comment on the other features.
Can’t access camera on my phone for remote deposit
I don’t use it often but it has always worked before. I have an iPhone-10 and since, at least, the last couple iOS updates, the remote deposit won’t work

Please Fix the App!
I agree with everyone else that has reviewed - the app went downhill when the bank sold. It will only log me in about half the time without several attempts. I tried to pay a bill 3 times, got three error messages. So when I could get to my computer did it on there with no problems BUT when I paid it, it showed duplicate payment. Ughhhh!!!

Terrible
There’s not even an Apple Watch app anymore. The UI seems terrible and balances are sometimes inaccurate. Transfers don’t work all the time as well. Sad to say but I’m thinking about changing banks overall. Their customer service reps don’t seem to know what they are doing. 80 percent of the call is authentication. Don’t get me wrong I respect privacy and verification but they overdo it.

Doesn't Work
I can't log in most times I try. Takes several attempts before I can see my account. Mobile deposit rarely works. Even when it seems to be working I'm worried about the check actually going through. We use the mobile features often and this is unacceptable and has been since the merger. May have to switch banks if they don't address this very soon.

Don't Fix What Ain't Broke
This app is terrible. The layout looks like something they would have in the 90s and mobile deposit is a pain in the tuchus.

HORRIBLE
This app is so much worse than the app they originally had. The UI is awful - agree with Zach! The mobile deposit feature doesn’t work. I take that back, it has worked for me ONCE! I had to drive my checks to the bank after that, because the screen went white every time I tried to submit the last photo. So that’s issue #1. Issue #2 is that I can’t login on a regular basis. I get a server error message. Touch ID doesn’t work all the time so I have to try my password, then keep trying throughout the day until I can get in without a server error. I have worked in IT, and I can tell you this app is horrible. The employees aren’t happy with their new system and the customers are NOT having a “smooth” transition. This app needs to be replaced with the original one, period. If this continues, we will be forced to change banks. The point of a mobile app is to see thinks on the go. No use having the feature if the feature doesn’t work. I will be writing a letter to the president. This is absurd. THIS APP IS HORRIBLE AND MORE COMPLEX TO NAVIGATE!

Not a clean UI
I’m so disappointed First Bank is not a local company anymore. The merger with Heartland has caused the quality of the app to go downhill. The UI isn’t clean, the fingerprint component is gone and overall it’s just confusing. Too bad; we might be changing banks.
