We’re glad the knot guides have been useful, but we’d love for Fishbox to feel valuable beyond that as well :fishing_pole_and_fish: Fishbox includes a free version with access to the fishing map, current-day weather and fishing forecast, knot tutorials, and saved places. Premium is optional and unlocks more advanced tools and extended data. We also collaborate with trusted third-party services to provide some of the information and functionality available in the app, which contributes to the cost of Premium. We do our best to maintain a fair balance between offering a genuinely useful free experience and providing additional advanced features for anglers who choose to subscribe. Completely disappointed misleading app
I was suckered as you have to pay for an additional yearly subscription fee of $25 for the maps
Also to note the app has the wrong species lists on the water bodies in my area, it listed white sturgeon in a local lake which is a 100% impossible and walleye in a shallow pond nearby 😂

IF YOU PAY FOR PREMIUM YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS IN THE WILLY WONKA FACTORY. HOWEVER THERES NO GOLDEN TICKET, AND THIS IS REAL LIFE. THE THING ABOUT REAL LIFE IS NOT EVERYBODY CAN AFFORD OR PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION AND I UNDERSTAND YOUR A BUSINESS AND HAVE BILLS TO PAY. Couldn’t you make a free app that shows the hot spots of local fishing area’s and even make the app kinda like FB where the anglers can chat with one another, share picks and it’s Totally free. You as a company could ask for donations to keep that app free, make a tackle shop (affordable tackle) hold mini tournaments in the app, make the entry fee like $1-$10 this to would help you as a whole company. I believe anglers would talk about this app and it would spread like wild fire and possibly out do you premium app. Some people feed their families by fishing, some families go hungry, it’s easier to get a free phone with free WiFi than it is to have enough money to buy their family something to eat. I do think you have a wonderful brand here, and would also be willing to help with making it better at no cost to you other than a free app. Just think about it.

Fishbox already includes a free version with the fishing map, current-day forecasts, hourly weather, solunar information, knot tutorials, saved places, and the AI tools. Premium is completely optional, it helps support the continued development of extended forecasts, advanced tools, specialized data services, infrastructure, and customer support. While direct messaging between anglers is not available yet, you can still take part in the community by sharing your catches, photos, and reviews in the app. We understand that more ways for anglers to connect could make the experience even more valuable, and your suggestions about conversations, affordable tackle, donations, and small tournaments are genuinely interesting. We’re continuing to explore how Fishbox can serve more anglers while keeping a useful free experience available and building sustainable advanced features.
