FAQ

What does the Fitbit Sync to Health App do?

This app facilitates the transfer of your health and fitness data from your Fitbit device to the Apple Health app. It allows for both historical data synchronization and continuous background syncing of new data.

What kind of data can be synced?

The app can sync a comprehensive range of data, including workout logs (walking, running, cycling, yoga, etc.), steps, flights climbed, calorie burn, basal metabolism rate, body temperature, weight, body fat, BMI, sleep analysis, water consumption, resting heart rate, breathing rate, SpO2, and dietary information.

Is the app free to use?

The app is available for free download and offers a free synchronization experience. However, it does contain in-app purchases, which may unlock additional features or enhance the user experience.

How long does the synchronization process take?

For historical data, most users can complete the sync with a single tap. If you have a large amount of historical data, the app will sync it in the background, which typically takes no more than one day. New data is synced automatically and continuously.

What are the common use cases for this app?

Common use cases include consolidating all your health metrics into one central location (Apple Health), tracking your progress across different activities, and gaining a holistic view of your well-being by combining data from your Fitbit with other sources in Apple Health.
