Worst 3D Body scan app out there

I have tried about four or five of these type of apps and this one is by far the worst. Trying to take a scan is a pain in the butt. It also won’t let me set up my height in inches, thank goodness I am also familiar with the metric system. On top of that you have to pay for it. There are free apps out there that do the same thing and are more user friendly. Stay away from this one.

Unstable and inaccurate

The app crashes constantly and is inaccurate. I used a photo of a DEXA verified 20% body fat male and the app estimated him at sub 10%. I tried this with a variety of pictures that were full body and posed correctly. A majority of the estimates were inaccurate by 5-10% body fat or more. This app has a lot of promise and I hope that stability and AI estimations improve. This would be a great resource for trainers and individuals if estimates are accurate within 1-3% body fat. For now, I have requested a refund and I will be deleting this app.

What happened?

Downloaded the app and paid for the subscrition, couldnt take photos and wouldnt give me results, kept glitching and then prompting me to repurchase the subscrition……

Glitchy and impossible to use

First as I as setting up profile each time I selected gender it would shut down. Got around it after about 5 tries. Then in order to take your photo you will need a second person as you have to line yourself up standing about 7 feet away from iPad but there is no timer Then I tried to judge where I should stand and took a photo with camera using timer. Great! Then you import to the app and it won’t scan farther than my head. So thought it was background so I found a different place to take it and then cropped anything in background. Nope, still didn’t work only scanned to shoulders then quit. Garbage now deleting!

Hi J.a.v.a, To use the App you need to have an internet connection. Also there is timer in the App for taking pictures with a front camera or even with the back camera. The timer icon is clock icon type after clicking on it then the timer counts down after you click on the take picture icon. As long as the body is in human border line and the full body is visible in the camera the App provide you with the requested measurement. Easy to use and free

I'm premium member. So far the App is easy to use. It’ll track body fat percentage and body measurements like all the body parts and many more and it’s easy to use to log and keep track of each individual measurement. I needed an App that could give me results easily and FitImage provided the measurements only from the pictures. No manual entry needed. So this is perfect. Thanks!

Best app

Super easy to use the App and the measurements were accurate. Looking forward to tracking my fitness progress over time! Just signed up as a premium member today. I like the custom measurements features and seeing my progress in more ways like body fat %, measurements, lean body mass, and BMI than just weight. I used other Apps and if I switch my phone or login via the tablet all my data is gone. I like the way this App syncs all my data.

Simply amazing!!!

This is the first app that accurately gets the measurements correctly. This is a pretty unique App since it does all the body measurements and body fat only from the image. I usually log my measurements and pictures at least 4 times a week. I'm a premium member and the App shows me all the details. Im %100 supporting them. Since now I can’t go to the gym and I don't want to touch the gym equipment.

Flawed

Looks great but it won’t let me use a photo so I can’t use the app,

Yes that’s the idea I see, but as I said it doesn’t allow me to take or upload a photo, it doesn’t work

Didn’t work at all

I downloaded it a couple minutes ago. Tried to fill out my personal info to start using it. Got to the 3rd line where it asks for gender and it would kick me out the app. I tried 3 times. This is getting deleted after only a few minutes...smh

Fantastic fitness tracker app !!!!

I found this app while searching for the body measurements. That app is free!!!!
Such a great way to track your measurements from your neck all the way to your waist,both biceps and both calves. Also the app tells me the body fat percentage all from my images. I had questions and customer service team got back to me pretty fast. The app is easy to use and really helpful for me. Also now my family is using the app. I could easily download it and use it in different devices without exporting data. With the apps I used before that was not possible. I already purchased the premium membership and It’s totally worth it. I highly recommend it if you are looking for something practical and easy to use.
