About

Fitovo: Longevity Training for the years ahead Fitovo is a training app for aimed at people over 40 who want to stay strong, capable and steady for decades, not weeks. It combines three pillars, strength, the Norwegian 4x4 interval protocol and daily practices for mobility, balance and breath, into one adaptive weekly plan. Each morning it reads your recovery from Apple Health and shapes the day around it, so you train hard when your body is ready and ease off when it is not. Features: Fitovo Age Fitovo Age is a training estimate built from your Apple Health data when it's available: cardio fitness, resting heart rate, HRV, sleep and activity. If Apple Health doesn't have enough yet, you start with a wider estimate from a few quick answers, and it sharpens as your data builds. Fitovo Age is training guidance, not a medical assessment. Readiness that shapes your day HRV, resting heart rate and sleep from your Apple Watch set a daily readiness score. A green day means a full session. A lower day trims the volume or swaps in recovery work. Training guidance, not a medical assessment. Norwegian 4x4 intervals, guided Four hard efforts with recovery between them, with live heart rate zones on your wrist and your phone. Fitovo tells you when you are in the zone and when to ease off. Strength for the long game Programmes built around bone density and lean muscle, with every set logged and progressed. Bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, barbell or bodyweight, the plan uses what you have. A plan that fits your week See the week laid out day by day. Move a session, mark a rest day or add an activity, and the plan works around you. Practices between the hard days Breathwork, mobility, balance, posture and grip strength sessions of five to fifteen minutes. All free. VO2 max, estimated or measured An estimate from your training, plus a six-minute walk test or the twelve-minute Cooper test when you want a measured number. Every session explained A heart rate trace, the key numbers and a plain line on why the session mattered. Sync to Strava if you use it. How it works Fitovo reads heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep and workouts from Apple Health, with your permission. It runs entirely on your iPhone and Apple Watch, works offline and syncs when you are back online. Runs, rides and walks recorded in other apps are counted, so you are never asked to train twice. Who it is for People in their forties, fifties and sixties who want a plan built around how they actually recover, rather than a rigid programme designed for someone else. No shreds, no streaks, no guilt. What is free and what is Pro Free: your daily readiness score, your Fitovo Age and its weekly change, the full weekly plan, the exercise library with demo videos, and every practice. Pro: guided training sessions on iPhone and Apple Watch, the full Fitovo Age breakdown, detailed trend charts, single-exercise sessions and playlists. Pro is available monthly or annually, with a free trial for new members. Prices are shown in the app. Apple Watch is recommended for readiness and live heart rate but not required to use the plan. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://fitovo.co/privacy Fitovo provides training guidance, not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Speak to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you have a heart condition or have been inactive for some time.

What's New in Fitovo

1.0.5

iPhone Duo support: - Fitovo is ready for iPhone Duo. Open it and Today, Plan, Progress and the Library show side by side, split at the fold. Close it and everything fits the outer screen. - During a 4x4 or Zone 2 session, the timer sits on one side and your heart rate and what's next on the other. - Strength exercises open beside your list, and the weight dial stays in view while you log. - Onboarding and plan choice use both halves of the screen too. - The Live Activity countdown now fits the Dynamic Island on a closed iPhone Duo. Every iPhone: - Larger iPhones held sideways get the same side-by-side layout. - Settings has a Done button. - A breathwork, meditation or micro-habit practice keeps running when you switch tabs, and its Lock Screen Live Activity stays up. - If you're unwell, injured or away, Fitovo saves it on your iPhone, so your plan respects it even when you're offline. Fixes: - The Lock Screen countdown no longer breaks when the app closes mid-interval. A finished phase now reads 0:00. - "Days since your last workout" now counts calendar days, including on the days the clocks change.
