Fiva

The classic 5-in-a-row card-and-board strategy game, finally done right on Apple devices. No ads, ever. No subscriptions. Play offline against AI or online with friends (with audio chat) across iPhone, iPad, and Mac (as well as in a web app at https://play.fivagame.com). Fiva is a 2D strategy board game that can be played offline against AI opponents called FivaBots or played online with teams consisting of friends and/or AI opponents. The goal of the game is to place 5 team chips in a row; horizontally, diagonally or vertically. The game board consists of 10 columns and 10 rows of standard playing cards arrayed in unique and changeable configurations with varying levels of gameplay difficulty. Each player is dealt a hand with 3 to 7 cards, depending on the number of players in the game. Players match cards in their hands with cards on the game board and place Fiva chips on matching cards on the board. Game rules are readily available with a press of the question mark icon at the top right of the game board. In online games, players can join into a secure audio chat room to enhance the group experience. Offline game play is always free and unlimited. Online games (which access the game server) cost a nominal one-time, life-time fee per device. Planned enhancements include the ability to add personalized avatars, additional game board layouts and additional card styles. Check back often for updates.
