I was really excited to try 5 Crown Solitaire, but the game was seriously glitchy from the start. The 7 rows were already completed before I even played, which completely ruined the challenge. On top of that, it didnāt always detect when rows were finished, making the gameplay frustrating and confusing. There were a couple more bugs too that made it even worse. Honestly, the real game is way betterāthis one feels broken and unfinished. Definitely not worth your time.

Disappointing
Waste of time. If I want to play a game, I want to play it for awhile, not once a day. Solved it on the first try and deleted it. Set it up like the real game with multiple players and let each one play in turn like the real game and it would be awesome.
Changes to app
What a shame the app has been updated and now you don't show the dealer and the names go in order of rankings instead of order of players

The only game you can play for free in this app is like solitaire and not actually five crowns. Useless.

I get the same problem Iceland, with finishing the daily and then clicking unlimited and getting the daily puzzle again.
I love playing the game and find that if I close the app and re open it then clock unlimited it gives me a new puzzle.
We also play the real card game and love that also.
I hope they update the issue at hand.

Paid for unlimited, but get same deal
I love the game. Thatās why I chose to pay for unlimited games. However it is not working right. After I solve the Daily puzzle, I tap to get another puzzle and the same one comes up. I thought at first that it was only similar, but today I took a screenshot of the daily and the ānew ā one and they are identical. I have emailed, but have not yet received an answer. is this just a glitch on my iPad? Or are other people having the same experience?

Frustrating fun
Good for sharpening your skills ready for the physical card game. App could be improved by marking the daily game as completed when solved. I sometimes forget if Iāve already completed it earlier in the day. The stats could show daily games completed vs attempted. That would be more useful than just totalling all books and runs. Sometimes I accidentally discard the current card while trying to play it, should be a different procedure, maybe drag to a discard pile.
Also thereās no difference between the displays if you win the daily puzzle or if itās one of the unlimited puzzles.

Itās fun butā¦
I love five crowns and love that this can be played as a single player game. I wish there was an option to play multiplayer. Maybe some sort of online play and have rankings in the game. Also I would like to see an undo button. Many times I have hit the wrong card I want to remove and there is no way to fix it.

I like how 5 Crowns has been adapted from a multi player game into solitaire but Iād like the option to play a multi version through the app as well. Also, Iāve tried to purchase the extra games many times and the app will not allow me to select the button. Very sad about that.
Great game
Unlimited play only 99Ā¢, great value. I have the real life card game and love it, also really like the solitaire version on the app. Instructions are there and pretty clear IMO. I donāt get all the negative reviews, maybe theyāve updated it since those were written. If you like canasta style games, this is a good one.

Why would they make a game that is nothing like Five Crowns and call it Five Crowns?
Whatās wrong?
Suddenly (today) the app is randomly assigning the drawn card to wherever it chooses! Which is never where I want it to go. Thereās no UNDO option so all I can do is cancel the game and start all over again.

I recently played this game with friends in person and was excited to download the app for practice. I just found it more difficult to finish the 11 rounds and would really appreciate some help. The most number of piles that I had completed is 8 and Iāve tried some strategies like creating more runs in each column but found out that if I just play the cards as wild cards to their respective columns, I will close more.
I would give this 5 stars if we can have multiplayer options. Iād rather play with a random human being than with a bot. Humans can easily make mistakes (such as disregarding wild cards accidentally).š
This is my first āsolitaireā game and now I know why I didnāt like these games. So Iām hoping that multiplayer options of playing online with other 5 crowns fanatics would be made available.

fun solitaire, just 99c for unlimited, minor scoring glitch
A challenging and fun solitaire game that provides good practice for arranging your hands in the multiplayer card game. I noticed that the stats seemed to over-count books (3 or more cards of same number) vs runs (3 or more cards of same suit in numerical order) so I played a game in which every hand was runs, un-rearrangeable as books. The stats still upped my books total by 5. This does not affect game play at all but I found it curious.
