Poorly designed
Terrible user interface.
I…don’t want to talk about this
It’s just sexual harrasment the online platform. Sometimes there’s comedy gold, but the rest isn’t too useful. Unless you’re weird like me and like watching people be idiots on the internet.
Can’t edit profile picture or username
I was able to change the profile picture and username but now I’m unable to. There use to be a little edit button when you’re switching profiles but now there isn’t and I’m stuck with a picture and username that I don’t want anymore. Please fix this and bring it back!!! I beg

4chan for campus
Hilarious
Promotes Harassment
This app has been active on our campus for around a year, and when it first came, people were “exposing” people. Where most of the things said were not true. I know this, because we are an extremely small campus. It has continued to lead to instances where people feel protected to say whatever they want, no matter if it causes harm because they won’t see any consequences. They wouldn’t say anything in person, but since they feel comfortable saying things behind a screen, they don’t stop. The moderation also sucks.

Women aren’t safe
There are too many instance on this where men are pretending to be women. Idk why they chose to do that but I hate that they can get away with it and it makes me feel pretty unsafe.
Moderately buggy and terrible customer support
Fizz needs some debugging. Sometimes after I make a post, the post has already been submitted, but the UI continues showing the loading circle as if it’s still being uploaded. I’ve even received a Fizz Up on a post while the loading indicator was still displayed, which means the post was already live despite the app suggesting otherwise. Customer support also hasn’t been particularly helpful when dealing with issues.

Mostly good, poll issues
Great app, for the most part good. It was a huge downgrade when they started making it so you can’t see how many people voted for each option in a poll, only the percentages. Which they showed before.
It would also be nice if you could change your vote in a poll or unvote if you accidentally click the wrong thing. But I get why they don’t have that feature—to make the results as accurate/unedited as possible.

Accidentally submitted an image
I accidentally submitted an image verification that was an inappropriate meme instead of my college acceptance letter and I’m afraid of people from the college will see it, along with my personal information, and there was absolutely no way for me to withdraw the image and I cannot even delete my account (as it’s new; there is no deactivation either)

amazing app!!
very fun way to communicate and connect on campus!
Fizz
People make or break this app I see the worst and best of people. I just like how people can be themselves on this app.
Fun for school socials, but moderation and fairness issues
Fizz is genuinely fun for the social side of school life – connecting with friends, seeing what’s happening on campus, and the overall vibe can be pretty engaging. The upvote system works well in theory and helps surface popular content.
However, the moderation feels heavily biased. Posts that lean one political direction (especially conservative viewpoints) often get removed quickly for “violating community guidelines,” while similar content from the other side stays up. It doesn’t come across as neutral or consistent. On top of that, certain posts seem to get artificially boosted while others with similar engagement sit completely idle. For an app that positions itself as a campus community space, this lack of fairness and free speech really hurts the experience.
Would love to see more transparent, even-handed moderation so it can actually live up to its potential. Right now, the bias holds it back.

I’ve been using fizz for 5 years and it’s been amazing the whole time.
Bugs and AI spam
Like 60% of the posts on there are mod generated posts and they’re all very similar (something about sex, relationships, etc).
Also the fact you can type out a whole post then lightly pull down the top and it just deletes all of it is super annoying and a big reason why I’m never contributing to this app again and deleting it now.
