I had a representative on the phone while making an account. It was an easy and seamless process. I’ll update this review if anything changes.
Useless
Can’t even get into now - with face ID or passcode. And you can’t do much with it anyway, other than check your balance. This merger was supposed to be a good thing?
Pure Trash!
This is the absolute WORST banking app I’ve ever used. Set up was an absolute nightmare and was ABSOLUTELY NOT worth it. All you can see is your balance and transaction history. You can’t set notifications. You can’t schedule payments. I wasted an hour of my life on this garbage app. I’m on my way to close my account to move to an institution that puts effort into making things convenient for the customer. Zero stars should be an option to rate this mess.

New system stinks and doesn’t work
Unable to login with the app you need a special passcode for to download the app to even try to use it. Locks you out of your account. All the extra steps to even try to log in on a desk top are also a pain.
Whomever bought flagstar must want to run it into the ground and sell it for parts.
