Nice bank, nonfunctional app

I haven’t been able to log in via app for AT LEAST 4 months. Prior to that, app would randomly turn off Face ID and require login.

I like the Flagstar Bank, but the lack of investment in their tech - or at least fixing the app since it appears to have broken after the last update (4/2026) is a problem.

Does not Login

The app doesn't work on my IPhone 17. I have tried updating, redownloading, and even asking others for help. Nothing seems to fix the fact that I cannot login at all!

Another outage?

There always seems to be a problem with this app. It’s actually crazy to not give your customers consistent access to view their accounts.

Notes

Note being able to make notes on transfers from account to account makes me want to leave the bank. Why you would take that Way is beyond me. How are we suppse to know what any transfer is for making dozens and dozens of transfers with no notes. Insane.
