The app can change many settings on the remote, but it always reset the channel on the remote to 0.

Never got it to work
I paired it once with the R2 trigger, but it never fired the flash, despite the actual trigger working fine with my EVOLV 200. Then it lost connection and never discovered the trigger on Bluetooth again. No recent updates. This is an abandoned app without documentation or support.
Flashpoint version of Godox app
After spending too much time trying to get the Godox Flash app to work, even contacting Godox support, I tried downloading the flashpoint version and everything worked flawlessly.
Godox requires you to create an account and give either your email address or phone number before you can use the app.
Not the case with the flashpoint version. No account set up required. Just download the app open it. Give it permission to access Bluetooth and connect the trigger and everything works.
Will be giving the system a good workout within the next few days. If anything crops up I’ll be back with an update.
