Loving the app

I have only been using this app for the past two weeks but love it already. I was using BeOrg before but the todos therein got in the way of my habit todos. I couldn’t recommend this enough

Love this app!

Incredibly simple, and does its job quite well. I think the only things I would ask for is to be able to sync using iCloud, and to have prevention habits (e.g., don’t bite nails). You can export the underlying data as an org file, but that can be a hassle if I wanted to manage my list from multiple places.

Thanks for the review! You can already sync via iCloud with: 1. Menu -> Export (save habits to desired iCloud directory) 2. Menu -> Import -> Open in-place It’s somewhat experimental, so please back up from time to time.

Great! Would love some widgets though ;)

I use Widgets quite allot. Saves me from going the extra step of opening the app. The less friction the better.

The only habit tracker that’s worked for me

The title says it all. I’ve tried a lot of different habit trackers but I’ve never stuck with one until now. I’ve always been turned off by storing that data in the cloud so I really appreciate this app storing my data on my phone. Also love to support a developer bringing Org Mode to iOS. Well designed, simple and effective software!

Quite nice

A simple straightforward and, most important, open format habit tracking app. Great app.

It simply works.

Love using orgmode on desktop, this fits nicely. Elegant UI, simple interface. Imported my habits.org file, no issues. If there could be a feature for Files.app integration to sync with cloud services like Syncthing, it would be perfect.

Wonderful design choices make this app a joy.

This is exactly what I want in a habit tracker. The data is in an open format (org mode!). The repeating times are flexible. If I miss a specific time, I can still complete it before it recurs. It syncs with whatever backend Files supports. It’s absolutely perfect.

I wonder if changing a specific habit’s frequency could have a more elegant solution. Right now it warns you that it might affect how it is tracked. I don’t have a great solution to this UX problem. But it’s still a place where some clever ideas could make things just a bit better.

Glad you find it useful! Tell your friends ;-) Re: frequency change, the challenge it’s mostly about recalculating streak. If you’re not too worried about potentially losing some of the streak, you’re fine.

New to habits

I’m new to habits but what a great way to try with no overhead but great comfy features.

Thank you! Tell your friends :)

Plain text is king

syncing can be set up through the „import“ option

Simple and Effective

A very sleek app. It’s uncluttered and minimalistic interface leads to a very unobstructed user experience.
I previously had another habit tracking app that while also a good app had simply too many features and got me configuring the app more than tracking habits.
Org-mode integration is also a plus 🦄

No clutter really effective app. Great execution.

Was good. Now spewing propaganda

You’ll know it when you’ll see it. Previous review was removed.

Response from developer

Looks like a bot of sorts leaving an unjustified review. This app does not send any messages to users, let alone propaganda. Please don’t harm my app with this review.

Simple, text file based 💜

I love the simple, no bells, no whistles interface. Marking a habit as done is easier than skipping it, as it should be. Because it uses a text file I can use Scriptable or Pyto to create my own widgets. Thank you!

Simple and effective habit tracker

Does everything I want it to

Response from developer

Wonderful to hear! Thank you :)

Total privacy, excellent features.

Really awesome app.

Pretty good

This app is good for tracking multiple habits. I particularly like the sync feature but I wish it would stay connected - I have to reconnect my file at least once per day. Main area for improvement would be way to view multiple habit timelines and a home screen widget would be great.

Simple yet effective

I’ve tried many apps in this space, but the complexity and time required for updating the habits was not worth the time. This app does one thing and it’s simple!

Simple and beautiful

I really like the idea of having my habits separated from tasks/todos (see plainorg by the same dev). This app just does that and has a historical view with the calendar along with streak and commitment metrics which is a nice touch. It’s a simple, intuitive, and beautiful looking app.

Focused and excellent

I use this every day and I works really well. Focusing on a small subset of orgmode functionality for mobile is perfect, since it lets the app avoid clutter and give you what you’d want in this form factor anyway.

The best

Tracking habits is simple. Apps should be simple. All he others try to harvest your data, sell your soul to advertisers and poison you with features that you don’t need.

This one is a sanctuary.
