Requires Constant Login, non intuitive, more of a pain than anything, no offline access when you need it
Update is a downgrade
After updating the app, it constantly freezes while trying to do online courses. This differences course I’m doing is supposed to take a hour. I’m on hour 3 and not even half way through. No longer able to access the app while not connected to Wi-Fi.
App is disappointing
I open the app, the login is weird, it says sign in but I am already signed in. I can’t upload my passport. I try and navigate to the study materials, it says I need the app, gives me a link to the app I am already on and it is an endless loop! Come on guys do better!
App refresh so frustrating
This app constantly refreshes which forces your open docs to close. Very frustrating and time consuming, especially when you’re using multiple references in class.
Much worse than before
The FSI app was always great… being able to access the data while enroute. This was very important because when an issue arises during a flight, the ability to access aircraft documentation is extremely important. Unfortunately with the recent updates, access requires frequent logging in… which is impossible if airborne (on an airplane without WiFi). Today, while serving as a crew member, we had a failure of part of the pitch trim system. I initially was able to access the app, but when trying to view a subsequent document on the app to follow up with the failure, the FSI App locked me out (requiring login). This is extremely frustrating and makes the app useless.
