User reviews

Great for quick access/maintaining synced desktop bookmarks but needs one more feature.

Floccus is perfect with Nextcloud bookmarks and syncing across supported browsers via extension BUT … We need the ability to sync bookmarks to safari or some other browser app on the iPhone too. Once this is done it will be 5 star app.

Doesn’t work

New install, connects to link warden says it synced but no changes to the bookmarks inside safari. Works great on my desktop browsers

Response from developer

I'm sorry for the misconception. This app cannot for technicaly reasons sync your iOS safari bookmarks. It will only display your synced bookmarks in the app. If you have erroneously bought this app, you can request a refund from the App Store.

Exceptional Product

I'm SO HAPPY that this is a viable option and that it's browser agnostic.

Works great in desktop, mobile git sync needs work

floccus works fantastic on desktop. I use it across systems and it helps keep me in sync. However, the dream of seamless bookmark syncing between browsers and platforms isn’t quite there. I store my files in Git, and there seems to be a problem with Git syncing on mobile. Looking at the GitHub issues tracker, this seems to be a longstanding problem. When I try to sync, it returns an error: “Failed to checkout ‘main’ because commit $commitId is not available locally. Do a git fetch to make the branch available locally.” Normally a simple thing, but unfortunately the app doesn’t give me the ability to do that. I’ve tried manually setting up my profile and importing from a browser that has it working. Both instances give the same result. If git sync worked properly, this app would be used daily for me, and would easily be a five star app. Unfortunately, I will be requesting a refund. If git syncing is fixed, I’ll absolutely give this app another shot.

Super!!!

I will leave the most positive feedback. Yes - it may not be the best design, but it is not needed. There is Google Drive and WebDAV! What else do you need from life?)
