I spend my summers living on the NE edge of Yellowstone National Park and also have a master’s in plant ecology. This app makes it easy for me to check my identifications and also has good natural history information. But even if you are a botanical beginner, the step by step identification option will ensure you can put a name to most plants. It truly is like having a field guide in your pocket.

Love this app

This was the first High Country app that I purchased and it’s still my favorite. I haven’t opened and browsed the app for some time and decided to do so because of the recent update. Love, love, love that it includes grasses and trees too!I try to travel to Yellowstone NP every year and it’s really nice to have useful information in my daypack that doesn’t weigh a ton!
